Summary

Wow!!

Dear Benjamin, I've had problems both getting to sleep and staying asleep most of my adult life. Lack of sleep has had a horrible impact on my life. I've never tried hypnosis for anything and was very skeptical but figured I had nothing to lose. I can't believe I'm writing this but Benjamin Bonetti, you may have just changed my life! I've used this for a couple of weeks and other than my puppy waking me being scared of a thunderstorm I have slept all night, every night before the session expires. (22 minutes) I don't know how this works, but it does, and I'm so excited about getting the rest my body and mind need. Getting the rest I need will change my business, relationships, and give me more energy for my art too! Thank you Benjamin! I look forward to learning about your other products and services.

Didn't work for me

What disappointed you about Get Better Sleep with Hypnosis?

This audiobook is supposed to help you get to sleep, but it certainly didn't work for me. One thing that makes no sense at all -- at the end of the recording the author/reader counts down to the time to "wake up from your trance." Well, I wasn't in a trance to begin with, but even if I had been, the point of this recording is to help you SLEEP, not wake up.

Any additional comments?

One additional tip, though -- readers can safely ignore catherine's review. There's not a problem with the recording, the voices are SUPPOSED to overlap, that's part of the hypnotic technique that's supposed to target your "subconscious mind." I'm not saying that the technique works, but you should at least understand what it's trying to do before you complain about it.

The music is nice but otherwise worthless.

The relaxation part is super short and the subliminal stuff starts soon enough that it’s like listening to three radio stations at the same time-super annoying... then he tells you to “wake up” in 27 minutes.... just totally worthless.

The only time I have ever felt hypnotized was listening to this

I have listened to this almost the entire way through only once because I wanted to hear what it would say the first time. Every other time I have fallen asleep immediately because I’m letting myself. But even the first time I felt asleep/hypnotized but just still coherent. I remember thinking “whoa this feels crazy”.

Out like a light.

After years of suffering with insomnia and taking numerous medications, this audio book is the answer. I've listened to it nightly for 3 weeks. My sleep is restful, my mood elevated throughout the day. My spouse has noticed significantly less irritable. During a time of heightened anxiety this book has brought much needed rest.

One of my Favorites!

Would you listen to Get Better Sleep with Hypnosis again? Why?

I listen to this at least 4 times a week - works fasts and gives me the ability to rest with my 3rd shift work hours.

What does Benjamin P Bonetti bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Benjamin's voice and cadence is the key to enjoying his programs. I have many of his programs thru audio since I have had continued success with the hypnotist.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

Breathe in thru the nose and your chest expands. Breathe out thru the mouth and your chest deflates.

Any additional comments?

I have so enjoyed the self help Audible selections - I continue to use the ones I have already purchased. Plus, I always have my eye out on another one to enhance my development.

I listen to it every night!

It works for me. I have been listening to it every night for 2 months. I get good night of rest and have thrown out the sleeping pills.
