Summary

A BBW in search of love + a sexy shifter who secretly loved her = smokin' roaring romance

Nita Islas wants to find love. She's tired of the superficial relationships and is ready to give true romance a try. She uses the Paranormal Dating Agency and hopes they can help her where all others have failed. What she didn't expect was to find her date flat on his back in nothing more than a towel.

Ky Stone has been in love with curvy and funny Nita since they were in high school. When she moved away, she took his heart with her. Then one day Ky wakes up to find her leaning over him. He's sure he's died and gone to heaven. He has no idea what she's doing there, but he's sure as hell not letting her leave.

Fate, meddling family, and the PDA have brought them together again. The chemistry between them is explosive. But there's problems with Ky's neighboring clan, and he's keeping secrets from Nita. He needs to find a way to open up to her or lies and unexpected danger could tear them apart...forever.

Listener Warning: This audiobook contains lots of scorching sex (dirty dirty dirty sex), adult language (hanky panky with no dirty talk is no fun), and violence. If this is not the kind of stuff you like to hear, skip this book. However, if you like dirty, raunchy sex with a hot bear on one curvy, sarcastic girl then this will be right up your alley. Enjoy!

I love Milly taiden stories so this was a given and the narrator is Brilliant, especially when she does Mrs Wilder voice makes me smile every time.

she passed the story well and did the book justice and I enjoyed it, this story is not one of my favourites but the narrator made it enjoyable.

Oh another book with so much unfufilled potential

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

An original idea or a plausible one. Preferably strong female and male characters. A sense of humor. Great sex well this is erotica after all. A bonus is a few breath taking moments or at least a few laugh out loud moments.

What could Milly Taiden have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

More originality in the plot, better editing. To start again.

How could the performance have been better?

A different narrator?

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Overwhelming disappointment followed by anger that these books were on sale on audible in the first place.

Any additional comments?

I ordered all FOUR of these books believing that as there are FOUR of these books there must be a strong story line? Sadly it wasn't... NO.
In any book that I purchase and then listen to there are a few basic standards that I believe aren't too much to hope for.

Sadly almost all of these basic standards were met in any of the Four books that I listened to. In this second book the only saving grace is the sexual attraction, adoration and chemistry between Nita and Kye.

Story was good.... don't like the narrator

I dont know why all the women Lauren Sweet does has to sound high pitched and ditsy. its really annoying, takes away from the story. it's the only thing that keeps me from getting more milly t books on audio, seems like its the same woman narrating all the time... ugh

This is my favorite audiobook/kindle book

First I would recommend this book to anyone who loves shifter romance. I really love the PDA series. Gerry I snarky and knows how to match people and shifters. Wish there was a
Real PDA I would definitely cons signing up. LOL
Thank for a great ride

Sweet and sexy

I have had the books for a couple of years, but i am thrilled that they are on audio. Short, sassy, and a good amount of steam. Great characters and good story line. Thanks.

The bear necessities

I want to give this a higher rating but I just can't. The fact that the female lead is plus makes it 5 stars, but it just goes down from there. She's not a strong female lead in any way. She takes no responsibility for her part in the misunderstanding and pushed all of the blame for it off on the male lead. But before all that, she acts as if she knows nothing about shifter healing. It's romanticized as her being overly concerned about him but doesn't read that way. I just hope the other books are better.

Not a lot of depth in these stories

This writer's work seems shallow and rushed to me but for some reason I still keep reading her work.

great story

I love the story gets straight to meat of the story without a lot back story or dragging it on. The characters are fun and strong.

IDK if it was the narrator or the story

This book was not my cup of tea. Most of the book I spent either being annoyed by the story or the narrator. I really can't see this being a book for adults. The narrator makes most of the women's voices either screechy or nasal. The first book in this collection wasn't this bad. Couldn't even finish it. I got about halfway through maybe before I decided I couldn't listen to anymore.

Almost UnBearable

This was a true letdown from the first book in this series, almost childish writing.
