That is until the day her mum, who abandoned her when she was young and who she barely remembers, barges back into her life. It doesn't take Daisy long to realise that her mum is the Queen-pin of a prostitution ring with links to high society and the head of one of London's most feared underworld families - the Kings. Gangster Girl.enjoyable listen, a bit far fetched

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Very entertaining book... well narrated and keeps you gripped throughout the two parts. Storyline starts well then gets a bit daft as the author starts to try and connects too many dots, which starts to become too coincidental, unrealistic and predictable.

Still worth a listen

So many plot flaws!

I’ll start by stating that I couldn’t write a novel and I take my hat off to anyone that can. I know this was one of the author’s first books and she gone on to be really successful so I’m keen to try one of her more recent books for comparison.
However there were so many continuity errors and plot flaws it made for difficult listening throughout.
I feel a good editor should have picked these up in the first draft to allow them to be corrected.

What a ride

This is the first time I have read this author, what an incredible writer!!
The story had more twists and turns than an F1 racing track, and the characters all came to life. The narration was excellent and all in all I had a great experience.

Dread Say Mitchell you have just gained another fan.

Not realistic.
