Lots of fun and simple games

I am really into playing games and was looking for some new ideas. This is a nice audiobook that goes through a number of very simple and basic but fun games for all ages. There is a number of very easy family games that are especially great for children since they are not complicated to learn and also have an educational benefit. I particularly liked the section on the more active games with a basketball for example. I am going to try a bunch of these with my family. Although it is not really my thing there is a section on adult drinking games which has loads of very funny ideas for games that I have never heard before. Nice and simple guide.

Great and funny games for everybody!

Would you consider the audio edition of Games: 101 Fun Games to Play with Friends, Family & Children to be better than the print version?

Audio book is better than print version because you can actively listen when you want, just simply switch on your electronic devices. You can even listen in a dark room in your favorite position. Very good narrator makes experience of listening even more funny and interesting.

What other book might you compare Games: 101 Fun Games to Play with Friends, Family & Children to, and why?

I can compare "Games" to "Creativity" and "Spirituality" because all three audio books refer to socializing as a great way of spending times. McCloud highlights how important is family and how to organize time together in most creative, funny and positive way.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

Stunning proposition is origami – a Japanese traditional paper craft. I still got a book about origami and pass it to my son and he absolutely loves it. It is great solution to develop fine motor skills and hours of a great fun. Also you can watch You Tube tutorial that is very supportive.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

“Games” makes me feel nostalgic. I remember when I was a child I like to playing charades, when you using gesture and body language to show some characters, film title or quotation. Everybody else have a great fun to guess what you are pretending. I also remember “Monopoly” and “Euro Business” as very engaging and valuable board games.

“Games” by Ace McCloud is a wonderful audio books that offers you different games that you can play with your family, friends and on your own.
I like the best funny and active games that you can play with your children like building games, magic cup game, games with chair. Also you can practice inside hide and seek and bowling, especially when the weather is not good enough to go out. Clever idea is to make our own bubbles from soap liquid.

Best Collection of Games in One Book!

I am a person who is always on the lookout for good games to kill some time especially whenever boredom pays a visit. I could spend hours and hours on my tab just to get through levels after levels of challenging games. But sometimes, I must admit that I grow tired pretty easily of playing the games especially if I play on it a lot that’s why I always search for new and popular once but not a lot of them are easy to find.

When I found this book, I thought that it was not going to be great because most of them are physical activities which you’ll have to do with other people. Well, I just proved myself wrong! This audio book is actually so perfect for me because it did not just introduce new games to me but it has also taught me that we don’t have to be on our devices all the time and play on our own. Sometimes, it is a lot better when you have other people to play with. It forms a special bond with other people such as friends and family and it is a lot more enjoyable.

The best game book I have ever read

The best thing about this book is that it has practical games that your family and friend can actually play at home and even out there.

Games galore for all stages of life

Games is a compendium in its own right, as with the addition of just a very few items it allows you to play oodles of games in a number of different categories. Games vary from children's games to drinking games, solitary adult games to family games; everyone is catered for.

I really liked the fact that Games includes many games that can be enjoyed with little or no equipment, including variations of old favourites - like Twister - it tells in detail how to play the game with items most of us would have lying around the house. It also outlines ways in which to make some non-competitive games, competitive.

A really useful little book to have around if you're looking for ideas for adult party games, or want some fresh ideas for drinking games at your stag do.

Fun Games for Family and Friends

What a fun little book on games this is. I really enjoyed listening to this and learnt many new games to try out with family and friends.
Ace McCloud has put together a great list of games to play that are well-explained and inexpensive. One of the best things about the book though is how positive and motivating it is. It really puts you in the mood to try out some of the ideas here.
For me, the best part was games for the family. Many of the items that you need can be found around the house and the ideas were innovative and easy-to-follow.
A great source for games. Excellent!
