Story
A young pretender raises an army to take the throne. Learning of his father’s death, the adolescent, dashing and charismatic and descended from the old kings of the North, vows to avenge him. He is supported in this war by his mother, who has spirited away her two younger sons to safety. Against them is the queen, passionate, proud, and strong-willed and with more of the masculine virtues of the time than most men. She too is battling for the inheritance of her young son, not yet fully grown but already a sadist who takes delight in watching executions.

Two brutal murders and millions of missing dollars have led Castillo and his team to Uruguay, where the man they seek is murdered right before their eyes. Who is responsible? Most likely, the people higher up in the dirty-money chain, those willing to risk anything to keep their secrets from being revealed. They've left just enough of a trail, though, for Castillo to pick up the scent and to follow it wherever it takes him. He ends up...well, not exactly where he expected.

Even after pre-ordering the pod that would allow them to play "Glendaria Awakens", Krista and Devin still had to wait months before they were able to experience the newest in VRMMORPG (virtual reality massively multiplayer online role-playing game) technology. The wait was definitely worth it as they entered into a game world that was virtually indistinguishable from real life - apart from the obvious game elements of course. After starting in a typical starting town, they learned everything they needed to survive in this new world.

Summary
Game of Thrones: A Family History recounts the epic tales of three of the largest and most important houses in the series: the Targaryens, the Starks, and the Lannisters. Learn how the Targaryens originally took control of the Seven Kingdoms under their great King, Aegon the Conqueror, and how the Lannisters came to be masters of Casterly Rock. Chart the development of the Starks, first as kings in the North then as kingmakers under their popular lord, Eddard Stark.
A perfect gift for fans of the TV series as well as the book cycle, A Song of Ice and Fire, Game of Thrones: A Family History serves as both an introduction and accompaniment to the existing media. If you want to find out how the world of ice and fire came to be, this is the place to start.

The description lies
There is no new material in this book like the description states. If you have read the song of ice and fire series and knight of the seven kingdoms you've heard everything stated in this book (and in my opinion, with more structure and better pros.) Not worth 5 dollars in my opinion.
