Summary

Welcome to the third novel in the Reemergence series.

Baby Astrid and the magic that she is grows older, and around her all things ancient awaken, changing the modern world - and not always for the better.

Abe Fellows - recent graduate of Quantico and newly minted agent of Tapper - is sent to London to investigate a series of bizarre mutations that seem to have been infected by an arcane virus. All creatures great and small flee the waters of the Eastern Atlantic, fleeing panicked and mindless to escape an unknown threat that comes from an unknown place and time, and Fyelrath brooks no assault on her domain.

The dragon of water joins Abraham in his hunt for answers as threats emerge from the city as well as the deep. It's only a matter of time before the eldritch threat rises up from its slumber and consumes Earth.

A modern Lovecraft tale.

I love the imaginative nature of this series, you never quite know which direction the story is going to go when you open the book. this time it was a contemporary homage to the old Lovecraft tales with some deliciously dark twists. this was my first time hearing this new narrator too and I really liked him.

A Masterful Addition.

Masterful in every way. Fyelrath offers new insights into the world of dragons and deepens the reader’s appreciation for Philbrook’s epic universe building. I look forward to the next chapter of this saga.

Great Book

This book was long awaited, and it has lived up to everything I wanted it to be it had all the thrills and weirdly awesome actions.

It just keeps getting better

This book is awesome as part of the Reemergence series. Fyelrath is just as powerful and awesome as her brothers. Cant wait to listen to more and see whats next.

Just as good as 1st 2

really hoping for a book for every dragon . I was hesitant to get this book because of a new narrator but dont you be cause it was perfect with this narrator for this dragon and very well done on all characters voices . A very great story too

The dragon series gets better with each book.

I enjoyed enjoyed “ tesser” and “ Ambryn”
but I think this was my favorite book in the series
and even though I’m a big fan of James Foster, I thought the narrator, Raphael Corkhill did an excellent job, I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Good story, poor performance.

Good story with a rushed ending, the reading is inferior to the first two books. Wish that narrator had continued.

Solid sequel with a sup-par new narrator

The story continues—a rather engaging tale of male wish fulfillment. I would classify it as a good beach read; it's entertaining as long as one doesn't expect greatness. Unfortunately, the new narrator, Mr. Corkhill, simply isn't James Foster. The voice of The Other is compelling, but many other characters are read in oddly inconsistent styles. It's occasionally difficult to figure out who's talking, if they're British or American, and whether they're being sardonic.

Could've been better. no real resolution.

Honestly, while I liked the first two books, this one fell flat for me. The characters did not feel as fleshed out as the previous books. There were a lot of loose ends by the end of the book. Why didn't any of the other dragons make it to the final battle? I feel like the dragon of water gave in to the arguments far too quickly between her and the Other. The author also seemed really focused on the gore this time as well. Didn't really enjoy this one.

Darker than the Earlier Dragon Stories

I greatly enjoyed the first two books in this series. The book is imaginative and well written, but it is much darker and tragic. It also ends very abruptly after non-stop action.
