Full Bodied got me right away with its mix of dark humor, eerie tension, and that slow-building uneasiness Steve Exeter does so well. One thing I especially like about the book is how the story blends everyday life with a creeping sense that something is very wrong. The mood builds steadily without relying on cheap shocks. Ella Whitehead’s narration is a standout. She has a naturally soothing voice that makes the quieter moments feel intimate, while giving the main character a believable voice that makes the unsettling, unnerving moments hit even harder. Overall, it’s a sharp, memorable listen with great narration and a story that sticks with you. I’m glad I listened to this one.

This is a great mystery, It has a little Agatha Christie, Bridget Jones and just for good measure Scooby -Doo. Francine Witt has a slot on a daytime television and a blog, but she wants to be taken seriously. She embarks on a treasure hunt, witch turns out to be very hazardous to health health. The narrator does a brilliant job. I enjoyed this story and hope there will be more books in this series.

This book is a fun, light mystery book with a cast of powerful female characters. Through her love of wine, Francine finds herself in the midst of an artifact hiest and murder mystery. Three generations of family history combine with ancient Egypt to add even more layers of intrigue. Definitely recommend.
