Summary

All he wanted was a little adventure and maybe to find a wife on Earth. What he got was a hell of a lot more than this alpha alien bargained for.

NYT best-selling author, Michelle M. Pillow, is back with a brand new sci-fi alien romance adventure.

Alpha male alien Edur (aka Frost Chaos) will do anything to escape his ice tundra of a home planet. He'll even convince his brothers to jump onboard a bride procurement spaceship bound for Earth...which to be honest he should have vetted a little better.

Galaxy Brides promises a land of untold beauties just waiting for strong alien men to come and abduct them away.

Galaxy Brides promises a lot of things they can't deliver.

Galaxy Brides should maybe not be in business.

Journalist Meg Taylor had no problem leaving her big city life behind to come home to care for her sick father, but she does miss the excitement of chasing a story. When rumors of a blue hockey player surface in her small town, she can't resist. But following Frost home will give her more story than she bargained for - dangerous mercenaries, spaceships, intrigue, and a sexy blue-skinned alien looking for more than a one night stand.

Frost and Meg

Another enjoyable audible book by Michelle Pillows. This is Edur’s story. He wanted to come to Earth to find his bride. He convinces his brothers to participate in the Galaxy Brides trip to Earth. Now, Edur aka Frost just wants to go back to their home planet. The trip to Earth has not turned out like he expected. His brother Ice was captured and tortured by the evil alien hunters. Fortunately, Ice found his mate El. Frost is unable to blend in. The baby aspirin will not work for Frost. So he is still blue. At least, Ice and Snow can assimilate with their more human looks.
Frost makes a mistake of joining a local hockey team. The team accepted the blue look and tattoos as his expression. He enjoyed being on the ice. But it alerted the media and the alien hunters.
Meg left her journalism job in Chicago to return home. Her father needs help with his medical care. Now she is looking for a big story. The blue hockey player would make a great story. So she stakes him out and takes photos. She wants to interview and get pictures of the blue hockey player. Why is he painting himself blue? What is his story? Frost refused to do an interview. She followed him through the woods. She finds a blue alien laying in the snow. That’s when the chaos begins and she ends up injured. Now she finds herself on the run with an alien.
Good story with plenty of steam, humor, language and cultural misunderstandings, two comedic aliens Bob and Gary, drama, adventure, family ties, villains and HEA.

Frost

This is the fifth installment of the Galaxy Mail Order Brides series and is Frost and Meg's story. Edur/ Frost comes from an ice planet and when the Galaxy Mail Order Brides ship stops at their planet he feels he is up for the adventure and signs himself and his 2 brothers up. Little did he know what a ride it would be. Between the comical translation of language issues and the mercenaries out to get them there is definitely a big difference between what he signed up for and what he got. That and the fact that the remedy for his blue skin is not working definitely made him stick out. When a hometown reporter Meg sees an article about the blue hockey player she decides to do an interview and find out his story. She is likewise in for a shock when she steps into a situation unlike anything she has ever encountered. Will Frost and his family stay ahead of Milano and his mercenaries? Will Frost and Meg get a chance to explore their feelings before he is forced to leave? Check out this highly entertaining adventure to find out.

Big blue aliens

Frost is the second brother to find his human bride in this instalment of Galaxy Alien Mail Order Bride series, part of the Qurilixan World. It’s kind of a sci-fi adventure romcom. We meet Gary & Bob from Galaxy again, and their ineptitude is still hilarious. Frost is happy his brother Ice has found his mate. You can listen to this without having listened to Ice’s story, there’s just enough overlap to give an explanation of how the brothers ended up on Earth. Frost is not the kind of guy to remain hidden—he ends up playing hockey & the blue-skinned alien comes to the attention of journalist Meg Taylor as well as the Milano organisation. There’s danger & intrigue, and hilarious descriptions of how humans do things. I love the length of these stories, and there’s enough action in the plot to keep me engaged. Kylie Stewart does an entertaining job. Bring on Snow!

“This is knowing.”

Meg is a reporter chasing a story, right up until she realizes the consequences her story could have for its subject and his family.

Frost was the one who wanted to come to Earth, who saw the hope and potential, right up until they arrived and things started going wrong for him. Unable to assimilate, afraid he’s putting his family in danger, He’s willing to sacrifice his hopes and dreams to keep them safe… but he’s too lovable a hero for us to want to let that happen.

Bob and Gary are back at it with bad translations and honest mistakes, add that to Meg’s hilarious inner voice and I was delighted with this story… part of a trilogy, it stands nicely on its own.

Loved how the narrator performed Meg’s inner voice.

Great listen for traveling

I've really enjoyed this series. Watching the aliens cope with unexpected challenges that definitely don't fit the advertising of mail order brides company is enjoyable. while there are plenty of laughs there is also action. I loved Frost & Megs journey to love.

great listen

Frost has been trying to fit in on Earth. He joins the local ice hockey team, He attracts the attention of journalist Meg. She wants to do a story on the blue man. Frost naivety leads to many humorous situations. I enjoyed this story and am of to listen to the next in this series.

cute story

not the most memorable of Michelle's books, far from it, but a cute short addiction to this funny series. unfortunately i found the narration pretty flat and boring at times. if there was a different narrator reading this book it would have received better reviews for sure. i received a free copy of this audiobook and I am voluntarily leaving a review

Alien male meets human woman, what could go wrong!?! This story has light humor, danger, and romance and is short and enjoyable listen. The narrator did a nice job. The antics will have you chuckling. I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Cool Frost!

I received this audiobook in return for an honest review. You need to have read Ice first to really appreciate this instalment of the Galaxy Mail Order Brides. I loved Kylie Stewart’s interpretation of the book. She has such an easy voice to listen to. Where I felt this lacked a little was in the humour that was in the first book ICE. The story was there but there was a little less action and humour. Having said that, I really enjoyed Frost and his adventure in finding Meg! If you enjoy reading Michelle M Pillows books you will enjoy this! Looking forward to Snow’s book next!
