Meet Darla Jean Hargrove, a young woman with a thousand dreams in her eyes, born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, cherishing all the lively moments of life, but nothing remains the same. As she grew up, she realized that the universe had planned much more for her than her ordinary life. Her journey of growing up from a background where girls were taught to be silent into a woman who can speak for her rights wasn’t easy. Her life took a different turn, which she didn’t even imagine.
There are some days when we want our loved one to understand us, but the things in Darla’s life were completely changed as she shared her personal life experience of how people treated her when she needed them the most and made her make such decisions in life which she never wanted to take. There were so many things happening in her life, but she never gave up hope. She always handles everything that comes her way. But the question that arises here is how she survived, how she faced and tackled all the challenges that society threw at her. What inspired her to write this book and be an inspiration for other women, too?
