Insights I wish I had a decade ago.

This book is really great. I design products for a living, and found so much of this information to be relevant, and timely. Unlike other books in the category, it's not recycling a bunch of obvious ideas. Instead, it offers fresh perspectives on real product development challenges. Even more impressive is how the book manages to do so after nearly a decade in print, in a world that has changed so much. This is the kind of book that only a real veteran of the industry can write. No trends, no fluff. Just honesty, principles for action, and strategies for product development improvement... and it's also not written like a text book! It's written like a mentor writing an email to someone who he/she cares for. This is my new product development bible.
