About this listen

When a corpse is found floating in the River Thames, the police can at least be sure that identifying the victim will be straightforward. Around the dead man's wrist is a hospital band. On it are the words 'Dr F. Klein'.

But psychotherapist Frieda Klein is very much alive. And, after evidence linking her to the murder is discovered, she becomes the prime suspect.

Excellent story again. Shame about Sandy but Freda still being 'protected' by Dean. Can't wait for next book.

Good follow on in the series

The problem with audio books is that you can't skip read when you get to long passages that add nothing to the story, just pad it out!
The story was pretty good, but I really don't need to know the entire contents of a shop she goes into, and some of the dialogue exchange between the characters was annoyingly slow. I am sure that most readers / listeners are quietly saying 'for goodness sake get on with it' !. If it was suspense the author was trying to build in by drawing out these conversations, I'm afraid she didn't succeed. If you can put up with that though, then its an easy read (listen).

Good story but just a tad too much padding...

The story was as gripping as ever from Nicci French but I did find the accents from the narrator very off-putting/irritating, sorry.

Fab story

Another brilliant book by Nicki French. Spoiled a bit by giving 2year old Ethan the vocabulary of a much older child nevertheless a good listen.,

Another narrator would have been preferable

Another awesome story from Nicci French. The writing gets into your soul, so it becomes a part of you, helped by the amazing narration. Anyone can be accused of murder it seems.

Simply superb!
