Easy to use

It is good book for general French phrases and is up to date on current expressions. It is divided into categorical sections to make searching more logical. It has a basic dictionary. The size is convenient for carring while travelling.

Very clearly and is right on!

This guide is very simply constructed, which makes it easier to navigate. The table of contents covers everything from pronunciation (a good refresher, or place to start), to phrases that would help you out in an emergency. The format is actual, practical phrases, which is much less nerve-wracking than trying to conjugate verbs on the fly.

Easy to understand

It covers a really nice range of vocabulary, for a lot of subjects. The free audio was also very helpful with the pronunciations and for working on my accent. I loved that it also included tips on French culture! This is a great addition to my book collection and will be very helpful someday when I get to take my trip to Paris!

Learned a lot

I'm not sure if I'll be using this knowledge practically anytime soon, but from a lover of languages and learning in general, this book is an outstanding resource and one I know I'll be referring to for quite a while.

Do not buy it.

The speaker is an American who does not understand French pronunciation. Additionally, the book is clearly meant to be read, not spoken, so it does not succeed as an audiobook.

Awesome

This French phrasebook is exactly what I was looking for to brush up on my skills before my trip to Paris. It was a short and easy book. I loved all of the charts that broke down the vowel and consonant sounds. This is audiobook pronunciation guide, so you can hear each phrase being said along with the translation!

Good Guide For All

I have always loved the French language, I took French in high school, so I have somewhat of an understanding of the language. I haven't had the opportunity to use it since then though, so I decided to buy this book for a refresher.

Learn French

My previous attempts to learn the language have failed but this phrasebook makes learning French phrases very easy. Learning the phrases were made easy by the phonetic instructions below each phrase. The only downside was not being able to search words or phrases within the book.

Super Audiobook

I found a lot to love about this book. For an absolute beginner, like myself, there are a couple of very useful features. Firstly, there’s a detailed pronunciation guide, and it tells you more than the sound of the letters.

The Best

I enjoyed listening to this phrasebook. I think it is very concise and to the point without being redundant or over-simplified. The beginning gives a great starting point with notes on the basic similarities and differences between the English and French languages.

Good Audio Book

Having the audio for the phrases has been very handy. I enjoy learning languages but it's always tedious to pick up the new pronunciation/spelling rules. For other phrase books you will either pronounce things wrong or spend a lot of time hunting down recordings on rhino spike.

Good Material

I found this book to be very helpful. It was easy to read and understand the French/English translation. I also found it very helpful that it had "do's and don'ts" of proper etiquette when attending dinner parties.
