Summary

Freddie didn't know sea monsters existed, but he finds out when he goes fishing with his grandpa.

This is the first story in the Freddie and Foxy picture book series. Foxy, a fox cub, is Freddie's best friend. Together they experience exciting and sometimes dangerous adventures while staying with grandma and grandpa in the Icelandic countryside.

Vivid illustrations in watercolour by Karl Johann Jonsson bring life to the unique characters inspired by Icelandic culture and folklore.

Kindergarten-Grade 3 (for 4-8 year olds). The books are well suited for parents who seek to increase their children's vocabulary and language comprehension, while enjoying a good story.
