Summary

If your child can feel a little anxious or upset when meeting new friends, then this could be the perfect audiobook story. Small children often feel a little scared when going somewhere strange or even starting a new class at school. This story addresses some of the problems and feelings experienced in a gentle way.

Fred the friendly caravan is very upset and filled with longing when his caravan friend Lulu is taken away and replaced by a bigger and newer caravan with all mod cons.

When the new caravan arrives next to him in place of Lulu, Fred worries they won’t be friends and that he, too, will be replaced. But things are never as bad as they seem, and there will be a happy ending for Fred.

Audiobook stories for children offer a refreshing and entertaining alternative for kids who spend too much time in front of screens. The anticipation of an entertaining story that triggers the imagination is the perfect excuse for switching off that device and getting away from the screen.

This lovely audiobook story will have your child wanting to listen again and again.

Very engaging

My daughter loved this story. Caravans make a refreshing change from the usual subjects of children's books!

I find that this series is great when she's tired as the stories are very absorbing and a great length. I'd say they are just right for a three year old that is used to bring read to

Fred’s adventures

If like us, you enjoyed reading about Lulu’s best day ever’ then you will also like this sequel. We liked learning about Fred the Red caravan and the tales he shares with his neighbours Dottie the Spotty and Dean the Green Caravan.

Fred felt sad that he could never be a touring caravan like Lulu, but things soon change when an accident means he needs to be taken away to be repaired. After more drama the tale ends happily with Fred in his new relocation.

We find this series easy, familiar and enjoyable. It’s nice to think that caravans might have personalities and tales to tell also.

Caravan friendship

My children found this a little tricky to get into. We persevered as we have liked other stories by Ann Twigg. The story is good in that it is about making friends and having confidence, but my children found it hard to relate to caravans. We chatted about different types of caravans and what they looked like so that added to the story. Not sure we would listen to this one again but the premise of the story is a good one.

Story supporting recycling.

This is a nice little story about the importance of recycling and reusing. One mans trash is another mans treasure.
