Summary

She has a broken heart and revenge on her mind...

Last year Karrie was riding high. She had a boyfriend she loved, a softball scholarship, and the best roommate a girl could have.

When it turned out her man was a lying, cheating ballsack, she may have gone off the rails a bit.

Now, it's a new year and Karrie's ready to build herself back up and move on to bigger and better things.

Still, a little revenge would go a long way in helping the healing process.

He's got a plan for revenge that will suit them both...

Ridge is used to being the BMOC. Sergeant of Arms of his frat and the ability to land any chick within snapping distance has made life pretty easy for him.

His home life is another story. He and his brothers are in the middle of a battle between his socialite mother and asshole father.

Ridge is looking for a stand-in to placate his mother and her matchmaking ways, and he has a feeling he's just met the girl he can perfectly mold.

This makeover has nothing to do with love and everything to do with Karrie and Ridge using each other to get what they want. What starts as a ruse soon becomes an attraction they cannot deny. When it's all said and done, they'll both have more to confess than a need for revenge.

Impressed with how much depth and character

I’m always impressed with how much depth and character Bethany Lopez can add to her stories. They’re generally shorter than most novels I listen to but they don’t lack in the development and that’s all due to the way Mrs. Lopez puts her stories together. Ridge was so closed off at first but Karrie seemed to knock him right off his feet because from the first moment he swooped in to save her, he was hooked! Ridge also had me hook, line and sinker… his immediate honesty with Karrie… it just won me over! Vanessa Edwin and Tim Paige sound fabulous together! I really enjoyed their narration and felt like they took the emotions right from the story and just lived them. I never understand how narrators can bring feelings; they don’t feel, to life.

All about the Ridge

I enjoyed this book from start to finish. Narrators pulled you in the story and pulled you in with their deliverance. The characters made you feel every emotion they felt. You could relate to the characters. It reminds me of Love don't cost a thing. Poppy is has me worried. I love HEA. Carrie and Ridge had some bumps and bruise to get where they needed to be. A must read for anyone who loves HEA.

Ridge and Karrie!

While attending a frat party Karrie finds out he was cheating on her before he ended their relationship so she decides to confront him at a frat party that she is attending when Ridge comes to her rescue. Ridge may have had anything he could ever want financially but emotionally is another matter. His relationship with his parents is tense but he is close to his brothers. Ridge suggests an arrangement with Karrie that will suit both their purposes as pretending to be together will not only stop his mother’s matchmaking but will also her ex jealous. It is only a matter of time before their relationship starts to feel very real, but will they let the baggage from their pasts destroy the future they could have together? There is a great group of secondary characters while include her best friend and his brothers. Their was no doubting the chemistry and connection between them but their journey wasn’t without its obstacles.

Fake Relationship - A Must Listen!

Frat House Confessions: Ridge by Bethany Lopez is a fake relationship romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Vanessa Edwin and Tim Paige. This is the first book of Bethany’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I absolutely loved Karrie and Ridge! I cannot wait for the second book in the series Frat House Confessions: Wes to be released on audible. Vanessa and Tim did an amazing job on the narration. They really know how to bring a story to life. I would highly recommend this book if you love Romance, Fake Relationship, or Contemporary Romance.

Sweet

I have to say that from the previous audio's of this author, some of the narrators I didn't like, but this one. On Point. Ridge is a rich frat boy who must make his mommy happy. Karrie is a struggling college student who is desperate for revenge on her cheating ex. When they meet at a party and then struck a deal to help each other out... Hold Up Fake Relationship... I didn't expect to like Ridge that much. A very fake relationship then turns in to something so much that both of them didn't expect would happen. Definitely a story that I got on board with. Like I said narrators were awesome and the story was just an easy one to listen to.

Ridge

A college romance that starts off with a lie and ends with bliss. I loved this book and everything about it. The writing and narration is superb and makes me wish for more in this series to be available soon.

This was my first book by Bethany Lopez and I enjoyed listening to the story about becoming a new adult versus finding your footing in a new relationship. Ridge and Karrie were great together and balanced one another through whatever situation that arose with their ability to be honest and talk things through with one another! Both Vanessa Edwin and Tim Paige were new narrators to me but both did a great job expressing the heartfelt emotions of this story. Without divulging too much, I will say that this was worth listening to!

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧 Enthralling & Sweet!

This is a fabulous fake relationship romance novel, it is well written with storylines that are interesting and original. The story grabbed my attention right from the start and held it straight to the end. The characters are realistic and easy to relate to and connect with. I adored the two lead characters, Karrie and Ridge, they attend the same college, Ridge is the Sergeant of Arms of the Delta house, the biggest and most popular frat house on campus, his popularity is up there too especially with the ladies. His house is hosting an annual tradition, a challenge, who could change a mediocre girl into a beauty. He was not keen on it at first but when he meets Karrie an idea comes to him. Karrie was nursing her broken heart after her boyfriend ended things with her. She is not much of a partier but she goes with her roommate Ermina to the Delta House Frat party, going as is, not bothering to dress up. She sees her ex at the party all over another girl, she then finds out that he was was stepping out on her the entire time they were dating and goes off on him. Afterwards Ridge has the perfect solution for her revenge and for him, him, she would be his makeover for the Frat competition plus she would attend his family Thanksgiving dinner so his Mom would stop trying to fix him up. They needed to make this fake relationship look convincible and they wind up playing their parts well so well at some point it becomes real or so they thought. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the story is fast paced and nicely plotted with plenty of drama, some angst, some heartfelt and emotional moments and some hot and sweet romance. Bethany Lopez, thank you for this wonderful story and this great lineup of characters. Vanessa Edwin & Tim Paige are talented narrators and voice actors. They do a fabulous job portraying the characters, humanizing them, giving each their own voice, personality and attitude. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture the characters emotions and project them into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen🎧

Boys and their toys

Karrie and Ridge's story was not something you would have thought of. Karrie life in college was great at one point. She had the boyfriend, the bestie, the grades and the life she wanted. When she least expected it things took a turn. Life change, things got hard and feelings were hurt. Ridge has demons in his life which didn't make him happy. The saying is money makes you happy but when it's your family money there are things that are already set in place for your future. Ridge was well on his way to making his own decisions but one quick decision to be apart a game with the frat house. Truths, fun and a very happy ending take place for both Karrie and Ridge, The decision college kids have to make often has your mind wondering where was all of this when I was in school!!

Ridge Swoon

Ridge & Karrie's story was so good. I fell in love with the characters and definitely felt the emotions at the proper times. I want more of them!! Bethany brings you stories that make you feel the characters and makes you feel like you are in their world. The narration was done great! Vanessa Edwin is now one of my favorite female narrators and I am so happy to have discovered Tim Paige he really brought Ridge to life! Bethany Lopez has done it again and I can't wait to read/listen to her other books in this series Wes & Brody!

It started as a ploy...

Ridge and Karrie decided to fake a relationship to help each other out. Neither expected it to end up the way it did. I really enjoyed Bethany Lopez’s story. It’s not totally PG, but it’s tastefully done. Vanessa Edwin and Tim Paige did a fantastic job with the dual narration. A very enjoyable listen. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

great start to the series

Susan was a real winner-NOT!!! Could she be any less maternal and cold blooded??? I think Karrie over reacted , but finally came around and saw the truth of things. I liked the growth in both main characters, and I would love to von4to follow the series with Wes and Brody. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrators did a great job bringing it to life.
