Great book had no idea that the ending was going to turn out the way it did.

This is written in two parts but they play out alongside each other through the story. It is almost impossible to give a full insight to why this is such a good listen without spoiling the story for you. Be ready to be taken on a journey that will have you reaching for the tissues pretty much from the start. At times it is a little confusing where we are in the tale but honestly stick with it. This is a beautifully written story of tragedy and hope you will be surprised at the ending.
My only complaint if you will was the narrator, she was a little annoying and honestly I couldn't see the character when I listened, if that makes any sense. Still a great listen and I would still recommend giving it a listen.

This is an unusual story but in a good way

The story is well written, and pulled through to the ending which I hadn't expected in a beautiful way.
My only criticism (hopefully no spoilers below, I'll try to be vague so only those who've read it will understand) is that ....

I've been in the situation of the man at the end, the physical aspects of those last scenes in my experience don't happen quite like that, that said I've only witnessed it once so I could be wrong, and most tv shows that try to cover It get it wrong too. It was beautiful though, and I'm very glad I read this book.

Not what I expected, a v good story

Wow this book blew me away! It's hard to review without giving spoilers. It's a very emotional story but absolutely lovely. The only negative for me was the narration. I found it so irritating that I almost have up after a couple of chapters. So pleased I didnt though!

Wonderful story

I absolutely loved this book. It was heart reaching, but beautifully bitter sweet. Make sure you have some tissues with you though.
