What an amazing conclusion, I've been hooked from the first book, hanging on every word. It's been an emotional rollercoaster, and action packed journey with characters that were larger than life, that I will miss, I'm sad to see this series end.

Wow, just wow!!! I don't know why I didn't see it coming. I mean the book is really big for it to be a happy ever after when she finds her people. But I am glad the author didn't try and stretch out the new angle of a new world into more books. It is just the right amount of everything to keep this a page turning, funny, bad arse, straight shooting book.
Love this series and will be adding to my read again list!

Loved this one. It was the perfect ending to the series. Great characters with greatly portrayed relationships.

The protagonist’s character development was amaze balls throughout the series and her growth was palpable but didn’t take away anything from her funny endearing personality traits.

My initial thought was that the story could have ended after the third installment and I remember thinking that “what could ever be left and interesting enough for the last book” but when listening to it the feeling turned in to an “of course…” 🤦‍♀️.

The relationships throughout was wonderful although (and these are my only remarks really) I wish we’d get to now the supporting characters and the love interests a bit deeper. I sometimes felt like it was too centered around Vinna and her needs. In the grand scheme of things the books were so well written that it was possible to overcome but if there was one thing missing that was it.

Also an excellent depiction of the antagonists both big and small all through the series. The counsels high handed ways, the lamia leaders psychopathy and the sentinels assholery was so well developed and expertly described I almost put the books down in anger over their revolting actions and personalities. A great testament to how well written it was.

Also excellent narration. Flowed so well throughout and fit perfectly.

The books all made me both smile, seed with anger, laugh out loud (really often) and cry. Highly recommend this series. Gonna add it to my favorites straight away. 😊
