Summary

Stunning and sophisticated, art dealer Samantha King is the only person who knows she doesn't have it all (unless you count her mother and sister, which Sam doesn't). When it comes to men, Sam won't make time for anything more than a one night stand. No commitments, no connections.

The night her life changes forever is a night Sam actually can't remember. Even so, the indelible mark a woman named Mia Rossi leaves on Sam's heart is something she can't ignore.

In her debut novella, Elle Spencer takes us on a heartwarming, humorous journey with Sam and Mia as they navigate life, love and a surprising shared history that complicates things, to say the least.

Sweet

I'm surprised I liked this quite as much as I did. It's soul-matey, insta-lovey with tons of angst and dramatic miscommunication but it had me completely hooked and invested. Samantha King wakes up in some man's hotel room after a night of what she hopes was good sex to find that the legs she sees stepping out of the shower are a woman's.

I never write reviews! But I loved this

As I said this is the first review from a person who listens to 4 or so books a week and I never felt the need to write before. Some of the books were memorable and some I gave 5 stars but this one is buy for the most realistic, most honest, most genuine and best written that I have read in what seems like years.

Awesome!

What a lovely story. This is a great ‘straightforward’ romance story. I must admit after reading it on kindle I was happy to see it on audible. Stephanie did a wonderful job with the narration and I’m sure this one will be on my short replay list.

Awesome story line

I could fully relate to Sam and the confusion she felt while trying to identify her true self. Definitely a good read with
the right amount of erotica.

Laughing while yelling my butt off!

The realization of how LGBT people find who they are. And time doesn't matter. 😊

Wow!

I have never taken the time to write a review but this one was amazing. I can't really put into words how much I loved it. It felt like I could really identify with the characters. I usually don't listen to the shorter stories and I'm glad I made an exception. I'm waiting on the next Elle Spencer book because I just can't get enough.

Unexpectedly great

It was a little slow, got better. The story was realistic. One knowing what she wants and the other unsure. I'm glad it all worked out.
