Summary
Harley Vincent is resigned to life in the human world. Sure, being a margay shifter is half her nature, but life among humans gives her the freedom to roam and do as she pleases. That is, until anti-shifter extremists target her, putting her life in immediate danger.
When an old acquaintance and onetime fling, Jesse Dalton, shows up to offer the protection of his pack, Harley hesitates. She may have feelings for Jesse that go beyond their one-night stand, but life among shifters means giving over her independence to the needs of pack. Plus Mercury Pack has its own threat to face: a rich half-shifter is determined to claim their territory at any cost.
Jesse, who lost his true mate as a child, has wanted Harley since their night together, and he's not letting her go again. They may not be destined for each other, but he knows she belongs to him and with his pack. Even if he can convince her to join him now, can he convince her to stay?

You can't beat Suzanne Wright. Great book!
What's not to like? love all the characters both old and new. They are so intense, funny and oh so sexy. I have read all of the Phoenix Pack and Mercury Pack books and I am hoping that there will be more as they are just the best and are all my favourites. Jill Redfield is an amazing narrator, I just love the way she brings each character to life and with such enthusiasm :)
If you like hot shifter romance with some great storylines and some hot, hot, hot lourvin ..... then I highly recommend this author, these books as all are so worth the credit. I'm sooooooo jealous of those of you just starting on these series, I've read them all more than once, and I can say that they are all my favourites. ENJOY, you won't be disappointed!

never gets old!
each story keeps me listening and the plots never get old. Love this author! have listened to the Phoenix pack and now on this one and all are worth the time and money. 5 stars. x

Harley and Braken's story, Braken new Harley was going to be his, he is just biding his time. Until a their new pup Cassidy saw people attaching a bomb to her car. Then love, fights and fun continues. Read brilliantly again by Jill Redfield.

Excellent!
I was glued to the story from first starting to listen to it. I now have had to buy the next three books so I can carry on listening to the story. I love it when I can follow a series and the characters are the same but the stories are centred on different people in the pack. I feel part of the family and I am with them in the woods or pack dens. I find myself smiling when the characters do and am very sad when they are. The mark of a really good author. Thank you for writing the story.
