The accents (particularly Jamaican) was unauthentic, rather like a Londoner trying to speak patois. That felt a little jarring and disconnected me from the narrative at times. But, on the whole, this was an interesting book and I enjoyed the stories.

The way the characters were interweaved in the final chapter. I wasn't expecting that!

Really lovely stories about real life events and memories of the hardest time especially for key workers. Moving themes which remain a taboo in our society. Thanks for writing this book.

I devoured this on audio book and then ordered a hard copy. The compilation of interwoven stories was beautiful and I cried more than once! A must read/listen
