Up there with best
A character based crime thriller, I have read so many I’ve lost count. Holmes, Poirot, Morse, Wexford, Vera - this one sits amongst the best. Excellent, richly drawn believable characters and a cracking mystery.
I will be checking out the rest of this series and others by the author.

Great story and narration
Most books are just "okay" or slightly better - I found this book very easy to get in to, to keep me interested and isn't too far fetched or silly! I was highly impressed as you never really know what you're going to get when you purchase a new author but I shall be continuing this series for sure! 🙌🙌
Highly recommended if you are a crime fan!

Amazing!
A fantastic and gripping story, I listened to this over 4 days. The narration is good and easy to listen to. I was already familiar with the story having read the book, but it still kept me hooked. I’m off to download the next in the series!

First book.
This is a new author to me and I decided to listen to this book as I seen it is part of a series. Well, I am so glad I did. This book was fantastic and the narration was great. I love a story that really draws you in and that is exactly what this book does. It drew me in from the first chapter. The story was a very believable and not at all far fetched one. I was excited to see how the story would transpire. It was at times emotional and sad but it was equally exciting and had me on the edge of my seat. The story had some great twists and turns that you don’t see coming. I also thought I had figured out how this story would end but I was way off the track. This book was brilliant and I can’t wait to finish the series.
