Summary

Tonight, I risk it all.

My fortune.

My freedom.

My love.

My so-called brothers in oath have betrayed me. Perhaps they forgot how many of their secrets I’ve been keeping.

Tonight, vengeance is mine.

But when it comes to heisting a priceless diamond there is no simple plan. There will be blood. After all, there is no such thing as a bloodless coup.

I’m not the only one risking it all. At the center of it all is the woman I never saw coming. The woman who owns my heart.

What a tangled web I’ve woven, trying to find honor amongst these thieves.

The good news is, I know who to trust.

The even better news...I know who to burn.

Great conclusion to the trilogy

For Her Benefit is the 3rd installment in the See No Evil Trilogy. These books MUST BE READ IN ORDER, and they are fantastic, so you'll be very happy to have three great books to read, trust me. Book 1 is Big Ben, book 2 is The Benefactor.

When we left off at the end of The Benefactor, we had no idea where Olivia was, but we just knew that she was captured and Ben was starting the hunt to track her down. Throughout the entire series, Olivia (Livvy) is passionate, intelligent, determined and, quite simply, a force to be reckoned with. She has just found her self-confidence and is turning over a new leaf of never settling and getting what she deserves, rather than what others are simply willing to give her. Ben evolves from a man set on revenge above all else into a man that act actually listen, love and appreciate the fierce woman that he has found in Livvy.

Nana Malone has crafted a simply amazing romantic suspense series that will leave you not only surprised by the twists and turns and totally engrossed in the action, and but also emotionally drained in the best way possible. And, thankfully, she's set us up for EVEN MORE to come in a new series.

This entire trilogy has been narrated by Shane East and Mari. I had previously read and listened to the first two, and did so again here with For Her Benefit. Shane East and Mari deliver engaging and nuanced performances, and really deliver the words that Nana Malone wrote with passion, emotion and care. Shane East, in particular, does an outstanding job of differentiating between the characters that he is narrating, sometimes 5 at a time in a single conversation, and it makes it that much easier to follow in the audio format. Outstanding narration of a fantastic book.

I’m The One Who Benefited

For Her Benefit (See No Evil book 3) by Nana Malone narrated by Shane East and Mari

The London Lords strike again and did not disappoint. I listened in one sitting, I just couldn’t put it down.
It was so sexy (I had to suck on ice cubes) and so suspenseful (my heart tried to gallop out of my chest) and delicious and delivered in every possible way that I wanted.

Ben and Olivia and their tribe of friends/family had me laughing out loud, they’re so witty and sarcastic and yet loyal and loving to each other. Made me want to be in that tribe too!

Nana Malone scored another home run! Brilliantly executed and narrated perfectly by Shane East and Mari. These two really brought the story to life and of course it being set in London didn’t hurt either.

I need more!! Looking forward to whatever Nana Malone cooks up next...I’m there for it!!

Twists with several vilians

I’m rating story a 4 star for the Trilogy overall because I felt some of the scenes and internal character discussions were repetitive and went on too long when not necessary especially when wanting to know what was going to happen next in the actual story line.

I almost gave up on the 2nd book and almost didn’t listen to the 3rd, but decided to listen as background while doing a lot of other things just to hear what the base story line ended up with.

Ended with a cliffhanger with one of the characters East which one has to listen to East End another audiobook, so not just a Trilogy really

EXCELLENT SERIES

This is an excellent series, the "Big Ben" series. All the characters are so well rounded and very much their own people. My favorites were of course Olivia and Ben but East and Telly were right behind them. The sex scenes between Ben and Livvy are smoking! Glad there will be a series featuring East!

S East is great

The length of the audible and number of books belies the fact the story is so boring. Trying to slog through the last couple hours bc I spent 3 credits hoping the story would eventually get better.
Shane East was great but he didn’t make up for the lack of a tale itself.

My windows are foggy

I just gobbled this series during Harvest break and I want more! I found this author from my Black women reading groups on facebook and saw that she is on her book covers for another of her series I am reading. This author holds nothing back and I still want more! Thanks so much!

Action Packed

Great story line if you love Bond-like stories (RIP Sean!). Love Bennet and his gang; still dislike Livie with her holier than thou attitude. Liv’s has cool friends, especially Telly. She seems to keep Liv’s airheadedness grounded with common sense. For example, Liv gave Dexter a benefit of the doubt without question; even when his wrongdoing was blatantly in her face; but when Ben had a small infraction, it was the most horrible deception in the world and she couldn’t be with him because of it. Glad to hear there will be another book coming soon in this series because it ended with things up in the air.
