Moongate manor in more than name!
The moon does have a special significance in this book and it all comes together at the end along with a bonus garden which is both beautiful and beautifully described. I liked the parallels with the garden coming back to life as the characters do, along with the atmosphere of its being a place of healing for all involved in the garden and bringing it back to life. It's also a story about coming home and even more than that, the feeling this brings. Some very vividly described scenes, I felt like I was really there and participating. Although I guessed quite early on where the storyline was going, this didn't matter and it was all really well thought out and all loose ends were tidied at the end and fully explored. On the strength of listening to this, my first book by this author, I can't wait for more!
