About this listen

Looking for a Fake Fiancé

Have you ever wanted to prove someone wrong so badly that you could taste it?

It doesn’t matter if they’re right. The fact that they had the audacity to go there is what counts.

Hi. It’s me. I’m that person.

The man I’ve been casually seeing told me I’m not “wife material” and I should “lower my expectations.” Didn’t he realize I lowered them the moment I met him for dinner?

Obviously not.

Am I petty? Maybe. Annoyed? Of course. Determined? Definitely.

I need someone to help me flaunt my new engagement—my fiancé couldn’t wait to pop the question because I’m that amazing—in his face.
The problem? I don’t have a boyfriend, let alone a husband-to-be.
Which brings us to you.

Are you handsome? Successful? A smooth talker extraordinaire?
Are you willing to do all the things that someone madly in love would do?

Putting your hand on the small of my back. Forehead kissing. Acting like I’m a treasure you can’t live without. I need you to be prepared to do all those things … and maybe more.

What do you get out of this? I’m willing to negotiate terms—especially if they include a job and a place to stay. It’s a long story.

One night. One event. Let’s put on one heck of a show.

From USA Today and Amazon Charts best-selling author comes a “hot and hilarious!” fake-dating tale between two frenemies turned roommates-to-lovers. Fans of close-proximity, and blue-collar, small-town heroes will fall madly in love with this story.

I read all the books before this one after the other and loved them all. In waiting for Banks' book, I decided to also wait for Foxx's.
I don't know if it was the break between books but this one fell a bit short. Also the male Narrator was a little bit annoying sometimes. I mean, he kept saying...'I said' as an afterthought, as if it wasn't written in the script.
I still love the family dynamics and they really seemed to tee up Foxx's book which I am about to dive into.

This is the fourth book in the Carmichael Family Series. I loved this frenemies/roommates-to-lovers romance. Banks and Sara are great together. Banks is very handsome, and supportive. Sara is beautiful, and strong. I liked the banter, the beautiful story, and the strong family bond. The Carmichael are amazing. The storyline is beautifully written, engaging, emotional, and funny. Jacob Morgan and Mackenzie Cartwright did an excellent job bringing this story to life. They are perfect as Banks and Sara. I enjoyed it.

Sweet Romance!

Flaunt is a fabulous frenemies to lovers romcom as youngest Carmichael brother Banks meets his Waterloo in Sara, a character introduced in Fluke who was his nemesis. Banks is what could be termed high maintenance but there is a method to his apparent craziness. He sees his brothers pairing off one by one and, while he loves the additions to his family, he’s worried that they’ll grow apart so he does his best to keep them together the only way he knows how – through laughter and pranks.

Sparkles, you been well worth the wait. This book has had me smiling throughout and full out laughing in parts at your Bankisms. Only you could start out counting sheep, before dressing them in bowties and ending up in conversation with the one called Rick! To some you might come across as annoying but the deep wealth of love you have for your family shines through and the efforts you make for them that only an irritating youngest brother would conceive. I loved this frenemies romance as you met your match and found a new ‘bestie’ in Sara.

Jacob Morgan did a fabulous job bringing my favourite Carmichael, Banks to life. His mischievous spirit and childlike qualities were obvious with every word while Mackenzie Cartwright was excellent as the bold but insecure Sara. Both have voices that are easy to listen to and together their narration here made Flaunt a joy to listen to. I’d definitely have no hesitation in recommending this audiobook.

Ok hear me out, this was so much fun to listen!

This was actually my first book from this series and oh boy did I laugh with the whole plot. Banks was such a sweetheart with Sarah, even when she basically put herself on a silver platter he was persistent on what he actually wanted and won her over! This book was so fun to listen to, and man did I love the pranks and relationship between the brothers.

The Charmichael family was hilarious with all of their shenanigans, and definitely can’t wait to read about Foxx’s story and his inability to not lose his keys.

I definitely recommend this audiobook if you want a fun fake dating story with good banter.

I loved this book but I feel like I should have read the first ones in the series! The problem with interconnected standalones is that I always feel like I've missed something important by not having read the other stories! I dove into this one as my first book by this author and I know I need to go back and read the other books in the Carmichael family series.

This book was great overall and I enjoyed reading it 😊

The audio narrators did a fantastic job with this one 😊

Great book
