Summary
New York Times and USA Today best-selling author
Vin (aka Flame) can't believe he's in yet another holding cell. Stupid earthlings wouldn't know fun if it bit them in the hindquarters. Speaking of fun, the hot little number who claims she's a guard at the jail has been making his body respond in ways he's very happy about. If only she'd get on board with the plan and help him escape back to his ship. First, she'd have to believe he's an alien. Right now, she's taken to thinking he's crazy.
A Qurilixen World novella.

Cute and crazy story
Flame is absolutely adorable, cute, and interesting. Angela and Flame's journey to HEA is absolutely entertaining and you will love listening to the story. Toss in some interesting behavior that makes him stand out and not in a good way, Flame is in a journey to get Angela back again. And all the ice cream.

Fun short story!
The story was sweet and Vin was fun, worldly and strong mixed with a sense of earnest innocence. I really enjoyed the honour woven through - especially Vins his ice cream addiction and the brotherly ribbing.
Honestly I much prefer Michelle Pillows full novels, I love her Qurilixen series - but this novella was great as a short fun story to listen to in the car.

The perfect distraction for long drives.
I absolutely loved Vin and Angela's story. I couldn't stop laughing at his ice-cream antics. But when this guy decides he loves someone, he goes all out to provide for her and those she cares for. A great listen.

funny story
Flame comes to earth to have some fun and meet some girls. He tastes Ice cream for the first time and finds himself addicted to it. He is arrested by Angela. this is a lovely story. Flame is so naive about Earth and it's customs. I enjoyed this story and look forward to listening more in this series.

Another Entertaining Adventure
I love the Galaxy Mail Order bride stories. They are short entertaining novellas that have a real good feel to them. Flame meets Angela whilst experiencing a bit of a sugar rush from eating too much ice cream at the Ice Cream parlour and he ends up getting arrested. These books are so much fun and Kylie Stewart narrates this perfectly. If you are looking for some light hearted romance this is the book you!

I want someone like Flame!
This book is like a look at Earth from the outside. He knows but doesn't know about Earth. He is ready to leave, but falls in love with the planet. He is so funny and yet strong. I loved this book to the point of reading it twice.

Short and sweet
Flame is a cute paranormal alien short romance story. Flame is an interesting character whose period talk had me smiling. His attraction to the mall cop is cute and the insightful romantic gesture at the end had me sighing. The narrator did a great job. Oh this is crazy fun!🥰🤪🤣
“Flame,” by Michelle M. Pillow was such a fun story. The author shows us a hilarious and very plausible picture of an alien visiting Los Vegas and trying to fit in. The three guys, brothers, and cousins are on a vacation. Although the Galaxy Brides corporation is a big part of the Dragon Lord series that is about all the two series have in common. The clever premise that Galaxy Brides wants to promote bringing potential grooms to earth to find their brides.
The Galaxy Brides, the company providing the transportation and lodging, thinks they are looking for brides, however, they have no intention to marry, until they meet the ladies of earth; three special ladies. As in the first book Spark, there is a lot of numerous and crazy situations between the miscommunications of the aliens trying to fit into this world, compounded by the fact that Galaxy Brides decided that Las Vegas would be a crazy enough place to bring the aliens where everyone is a bit "different".
Flame (aka) Vin Glarkenbauer didn't know about ice cream and became instantly addicted. So what does he do? He tries to get more. However, he doesn't realize his behaviour makes him look deranged. That's about the time the mall cop shows up with a trainee in tow. Angela Borden is that trainee. The only thing more addicting to Flame than Sugar is Angela. He knows she is meant for him and will not rest until he finds her again. Vin (Flame) is naive when it comes to Earth Culture. Angela is someone you love to be around. She cares about people infinitesimally and she especially loves and cares for her Mother. This is a pretty steamy novella, Vin and Angela light up the pages! Highly recommended, Ms. Pillow’s books are fun, with action, humour, and sexy aliens! 🥰🤪🤣

Cute & fun
Living in Vegas, Angela thought that she had seen it all but the cute guy she stuck in the holding cell proved her wrong. After all, why would he call himself Flaim & c!aim that he was an alien from outer space? I love family theme throughout this book & can't wait to read the next one.

This audiobook was well done. The narrator kept me on track with the different voices, very impressive. The story itself is great and I will be listening to the next one soon.

Flame and Angela
Kal signed up his cousins for the Galaxy Brides Corporate trip to Earth. Kal is now Spark and the brothers Vin and Sev are now Flame and Blaze. With new identities, clothes and the necessary language, they dropped off in sin city Las Vegas. The three are ready for adventures after working in the mines on their home planet Quirilixen. Vin aka Flame has an unfortunate addiction to ice cream and the sugar buzz. He is arrested by a gorgeous human that draws him to her. He can’t get Angela out of his mind even after she arrested him. He thinks this is a bracelet custom on Earth. He believes Angela really wants him.
Angela is the new recruit on the Vegas patrol. She and her supervising partner respond to a man taking over the ice cream counter in the hotel. She tries to allow the stranger his dignity as she arrests him. But his understanding of the language is a problem. She assumed he was from another country. But she soon finds out he his from another planet. But she has to keep this job to care for her ailing mother in a nursing home. She needs a better facility for her mother’s medical needs. That takes money.
A quick listen with plenty of humor with the misunderstanding of human language, sugar addiction, arrest, chemistry, fated mates, adventure, drama, parent with Alzheimer's and HEA.

Flame
This is the second installment in the Galazy Alien Male Order Brides series and is Vin "Flame" and Angela's story. It starts where Kal "Sparks" story ended and I truly got a kick out of how clueless these Alien men were about Earth and its customs. They got themselves in some truly strange situations such as Vin's experience with ice cream. His sugar high caused him to act like an addict in search of his next high. He met Angela when he got arrested by the mall cops for demanding more ice cream from a shop and she was in their training program. As crazy and clueless as they are they somehow manage to make a love connection along the way in spite of it. If you want a light hearted feel good story I suggest you check this one out.

I Enjoyed It
I enjoyed this book. It was really fun. Vin ends up getting himself arrested in an ice cream shop after getting too forceful and demanding entire tubs of ice cream when he suffers addict-like withdrawal effects from the sugar. He is completely infatuated with Angela- the officer who arrests him-, happily goes to jail with her, and enjoys the handcuffs she 'gifted' him and didn't want them removed. There were lots of things to smile about in this book, from his totally normal human name of Flame, to believing people were being imprisoned in wax museums where family could visit them and take pictures (what a hilarious and unique concept!). I thought Angela very sweet and patient and calm with him- believing him high on something, or just crazy. I was impressed with her behavior. Until the proof of aliens happened of course lol
I listened to this as an audiobook narrated by Kylie Stewart. She enunciated everything clearly and I liked her tone of voice. She did a good job for Angela. Her male voices were okay.

Flaming Hot
I received this as an ARC for my honest opinion and I honestly loved it. I would definitely recommend that you read book. This is the book in the Galazy Alien Male Order Brides series and is Vin "Flame" and Angela's story. It starts where Kal "Sparks" story ended. Vin's experience starts with ice cream of all things lol. His sugar high caused him to act like an addict in search of his next high. He ends up meeting Angela when he gets arrested by the mall cops for demanding more ice cream from a shop and she was in their training program. Of course there is some communication issues between them because they are different species but there is instant attraction between them but can is that attraction enough to win out in the end I guess you will have to read this book to find out.

Another Humorous Delight
I absolutely adore this author's two series based in the Quirilixen world, this series and the Captured by a Dragon Shifter series. For sci-fi romance, they are incredibly funny and a pure delight, whether read or listened to. Poor Flame, who in the first book of this series was portrayed as the bad boy of the group of three relatives who have used the Galaxy Alien Mail-order Bride program to get a cheap ticket to Las Vegas to have a little fun. Their views on what Earth and Earth cultures should be like have been warped by the transmissions they've watched that they think are factual but are actually our old TV shows. Flame, known as Vin on his homeworld, gets the hilarity started right in the first chapter when we see the results of sugar from ice cream hitting his alien system. But during this encounter, he meets a young police officer he is instantly attracted to. What I love about these heroes in the series is that they are completely guileless. What they know of Earth is skewed, yet they're trying to make sense of it the best way they know how. So when this pretty female that he's attracted to puts handcuffs on him, he thinks she's giving him a gift! And he doesn't want to take them off, even when offered! (Side Note: I love the running gag about the wax museum in these books. The aliens think real people are imprisoned in wax...and that their families visit them and take pictures!) Watching the heroine's reaction to him is so much fun, too. She just doesn't know quite what to make of him. Is he crazy? Is he simple? Or is he truly what he says, an alien from another world? The heroes in these series are incredibly sweet and earnest. The heroine's mother has mild dementia, and the heroine's having a hard time getting through to and understanding her mother. Flame knows just how to interpret her mother's actions and is so kind and compassionate towards her that the heroine cannot help but be touched and impressed (as is the reader). The narrator does a good job giving different voices to all the male characters; I loved the ones for the Brides company aliens at the end, and she does a particularly good job of getting across the heroine's shifting thoughts and emotions. If you enjoy slightly wacky sci-fi romance, you will probably find this as much of a delight as I do.

Earth rules and ice cream
Vin (Flame) loves ice cream as much as I do but it gets him in trouble and then in love whereas all it’s ever done for me is increase my good mood and waistline. I listened to this as an audiobook while I was doing some sewing and I had to keep stopping to laugh especially at Vin as he is high on sugar and as he tries to figure out Earth rules. The narrator was particularly good at giving Vin an accent but still being very decipherable. The end of the story seemed a bit abrupt as Vin just appears to save the day and then that’s it. Fun short addition to the Galaxy Brides.
