Kate still sleeps with her husband's T-shirt, but it doesn't smell of Luke any more. She misses him every day. One morning, Kate wakes up back at college. She's 18 years old. She remembers everything. And she realises that this is the week that she will meet Luke for the first time. What if the man you lost could be found again? Porth???? Where???
Enjoyed this book but kept being jolted back to reality everytime the narrator attempted to say Porthleven ... it is leven like eleven not leaven !!! As it is quite central to the story I wish this had been spoken correctly!
Apart from this a very enjoyable story.

Disappointing - struggled to get to the end.
I'm Cornish (as are several generations of my family) so mispronounced place names really grate on me! Didn't warm to the narrator's voice, very 'matter of fact' in some places, whilst in others the falling pitch intonation at the end of each sentence, even those in speech, was very tedious. Sounded like the narrator was bored reading it in places.

I loved the idea of this story and I felt really connected to the characters. The ending was perfect and I loved that unknowing throughout how it was going to pan out.
