Four ruthless men. A virgin mafia princess to unite them. But first, there will be blood.

On my 17th birthday, I learn a terrible secret about my family. My future is in the hands of four brutal men, and what awaits me at their hands is too terrible to imagine. Four men who desire me. Four men who vow to possess me. Four men who think they can destroy me.

As the only daughter of Coldlake’s mayor, I should be kept far, far out of their reach. Instead, I’m being thrown to them as a sacrifice. My father insists only one of them can marry me, but all of them vow to secure my promise. A promise in blood.

They take. I bleed. Happy birthday to me.

Author’s note: First Comes Blood is the first book in the Promised in Blood series and ends on a cliff-hanger. These books contain dark themes, violence, and a romance with one woman and four ruthlessly possessive men where she never has to choose. The story is dark, dirty, and delicious, so please listen at your discretion.

A brand new mafia Why Choose that is dark as heck, from an author I really enjoy, albeit her first with this pen name. And I really liked how none of the characters were particularly likeable. Plus it really hit a lot the tropes i love (age gap, kidnapped from a wedding, cold unfeeling character to everyone but his "family") After graciously being selected to ARC read book 2 in this series, it gave me the push I needed to read this which i bought like the day after it came out. In a way I'm glad I waited because I'm about to dive into book 2 right away because that cliffhanger was SOMETHING ELSE. The writing was on point and I cannot wait to see how to plays out. Bring it on.

CW: Gun play, knife play, impact play, dub con, murder, violence, roughing up of the heroine whilst underage, trauma of loss.

On her 17th birthday Chiara is told by her father the mayor of cold lake that she is to marry one of the ruthless men at her party when she turns 18. Really enjoyed listening to this I’ve read a few of Lilith Vincent’s books but this is my first audiobook and it was perfect .

Aww, my goodness, lilith Vincent knows a way to my heart. I have always left this trilogy on my tbr because I struggle with RH sometimes, but boy, am I glad I finally jumped into this. This won't be for everyone, but I ate this up in one sitting. This is the story of Chiara, Salvatore, Lorenzo , Cassius & Vinicius . I loved these characters . I read this while listening to the audio, which is perfectly narrated by Maeve York & Walker Williams 👏, the way Walker is voicing all these men & nailing the accents. i love it. And Maeve as Chiara is perfectly portraying the innocent & naive Chiara. The men are unhinged & i didn't know who to trust. I was hooked from the start & the suspense spurred me on. If you know lilith work, you know there is gonna be a delicious spice, age gap, unhinged and possessive, dangerous men! I laughed in some parts when Chiara was so easily duped that shit was funny even though it shouldn't have been. This ends on a cliffhanger and on to book 2 i go

delicious RH mafia romance

Wow. This book is absolutely brutal. With such ruthless characters I’m not sure this mafia princess can soften them. I do looking forward to the next book. A brilliant performance.
