Starting in 1994, Dr. Rhiannon Lloyd pioneered a workshop called "Healing the Wounds of Ethnic Conflict" in post-genocide Rwanda. This workshop has now been attended by well over two million people from all over the world, and from some of the darkest and most conflicted countries. The workshop is now called "Healing Hearts, Transforming Nations". Fire Lilies: Finding Hope in Unexpected Places is her story. An incredible journey that starts in the heart of a woman from Wales, inclining her ear to the Heart of the Father...sharing the HEALING, Reconciliation and Beauty that is only possible from the LOVE originating in the Triune Circle, overflowing and engulfing us, even with all our pain and failures, we are COVERED by the Love, Grace and Forgiveness only available at the Cross, turning our brokeness, pain and the ashes of our life, INTO BEAUTY. . .like the Fire Lilies rising with promise from the ashes...our lives and our relationships, communities have a new Hope and Promise, Love and strength where there had been strife, brokeness and pain!
Thankful for Rhiannon Lloyd, for her sevant's heart, a heart of compassion that she followed to Rwanda, Libia, South Africa, Kenya. Uganda, DRC, Turkey, Middle East, Asia, Ukraine and many many other places of confict. Bless you and may these RIPPLES never cease, but build!
Sooooo good to HEAR this glimpse of her life's work, so far, in her own voice...you feel like you are sitting across ftom her, over a cuppa, as she shares her journey, following His prompting and leading...going where and when He called even in the scary, even war torn places that many deemed off limits. He showed her the need and He provided the Way.
