His power rules the city—but she rules his heart.
Finn O’Reilly is stern, powerful, and confident. He oversees his hotel and his syndicate with a commanding presence and leadership, knowing any weakness could be used against him.
And he has none. Except Una Murphy. The woman he lost his heart to and still loves, even though she wants nothing to do with him.
Or so she claims.
When her life is in peril, he won’t stop until she is safe and back where she belongs—with him.
Can he rescue her?
Convince her to stay?
Will she be a part of his world, regardless of the danger, knowing she is safer with him than apart?
She is his world.
He simply needs to convince her.

Finn, the first book in The Irishmen Duet took me a little bit by surprise. What I mean by that is that there isn’t much about the book that is a “surprise” and I would even go as far as saying it is “predictable” but despite those things, I was captivated and enraptured by not just the storyline but Finn & Una as well! 🎉SURPRISE!🎉 Feel me?! I was rooting for Finn & Una from the very beginning and their story made me happy for them and even though I knew what was coming, I still could not stop devouring their story! It’s a story of family, found and blood. It’s a story of love and its power of hope and will. It’s not a “long” story yet it’s thorough and developed perfectly. I loved the appearance of past characters and the set-up for Niell. I loved the emotion woven throughout every aspect of the story, both good and bad, and I loved that every circumstance had a purpose and was integral in the journey to the ❤️🔥sweet spot❤️🔥!
🎧I really enjoy both 🎙️John Lane & Maxine Mitchell🎙️’s voices and they make an excellent pairing! I’ve gotten to know their range and versatility quite well in the last few years due mostly to their performances of Melanie’s audiobooks. They bring something special to every character that they perform, and they do it superbly! 5 STAR performance to them both!

Finn loved Una from the moment he'd met her, but there were 10 years between them and though they'd gone out for a while, after an incident she'd broken up with him. But when her father had died he'd promised to keep an eye on and help her and her brother, and he'd always been there for her in the shadows.
Una has deep loyalty for her brother but the more he tests Finn who is also his boss the harder it is for her. But when she learns that Finn's helped him with some debts she's keen to repay him herself. She knows Finn's always watching and perhaps she might not mind as much as she protests.
This couple is fantastic together, you can't help but love Finn and the way he works to help her with her dreams, and Niall is great as his second hand (they're both strong men with soft hearts for the women in their lives). I can't wait to listen to his story too particularly with how the first book ends.
John Lane and Maxine Mitchell narrate this really well, bringing the characters to life with great emotion.

Una Murphy is his kryptonite and his saviour.
Their story is one of family, loyalty, love and betrayal.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this gorgeous Irish couple both in Toronto and Ireland.
As Finn is the first title in Melanie Moreland's latest duet, it make me soooo excited for Niall, yet to come.
In this, the audio version, John Lane and Maxine Mitchell bring Finn and Una to life spectacularly...the Irish accents are amazing to the ears of this Scottish lass.
The Irish accents are fabulous!
