Smart and touching tale about scared teen Audrey and her friendship with a boy called Linus. A sweet and enjoyable read. ****
Emotional, captivating and ultimately uplifting - buy this for the teens in your life, as well as yourself
Even with such an emotionally challenging subject [Sophie Kinsella] still manages to infuse her unique brand of humour
Warm, funny and surprising
Kinsella’s knack for humor and sensitivity shine in a story that should easily expand her already substantial fan base.
An outstanding tragicomedy that gently explores mental illness, the lasting effects of bullying, and the power of friends and loving family to help in the healing
With her trademark wit and sass, Kinsella sensitively broaches the complexities of young adult mental health.
[Sophie Kinsella's] compassionate, insightful take on what it's like to live with anxiety is an eye-opener, but her trademark lightness of touch and gentle humour make it hugely entertaining too
I utterly fell in love with Audrey and her entire family; such a wonderfully warm, funny heartwrenching and wise read
A fresh voice in YA with buckets of charm, heart and warmth. Readers will fall in love with the Turners and develop a soft spot for Audrey. Sophie Kinsella's signature flair is sublime and her trademark British humour was genuinely charming.

A very unusual book. It took a while to get into. I wasn't keen on the narrators voice but got used to it.
This really is more like a Self Help book for teenagers or patients of young people with anxiety issues.
I did however feel the need to see it through to the uninspiring end.
Not the best Sophie Kinsella book I've read but well written.

It's more like a self-help book than fiction

Another excellent naration by Gemma Whelen, she makes the characters in this well written book come to life.

Funny and deep at the same time

We find Audrey recovering from some kind of breakdown for a reason we know not.

It’s a lovely story told from Audrey’s point of view. It’s tender, it’s painful, it’s ultimately optimistic.

I liked the narration a lot, especially the occasional “theatrical” scenes where there are more readers for different characters.

Not a typical Sophie Kinsella. I recommend!

Tender
