A suicide like no other

As someone who has trained in suicide intervention I expected this audiobook to be depressing but instead it was a great crime thriller with an original twist. Good story and narration.

Enjoyable Listen

It was an easy listen, it hooked me quickly. I did find it a little cliché and guessed some of the ending. The characters were well written and the narrator was excellent. well worth a listen.

Excellent

Definitely recommended. No criticisms whatsoever A satisfyingly twisty story & beautiful, uplifting ending, considering it begins with an attempted suicide. If you want to experience a central male character who isn’t toxic & mysoginistic & who reflects humbly & honestly on his own failings, but is prepared to face up to them, then this is a great listen.

First Audiobook

Throughly enjoyed this audiobook, however who wrote Zoe’s suicide note? I thought maybe frank but that wouldn’t make sense, it will bug me.

A bit Meh!

I’m pleased I didn’t spend a credit on this. It was all a bit….meh. The narrator was good but the story lacked a strong ending. I hate books where the bad guy completely explains his plan and plot near the end of a book, giving several opportunities for the good guy to escape. Eye roll. Overall the characters were weak and the plot unbelievable. The so called twists were silly too. Would not recommend.

Great story

Enjoyed this story very much. Its a story that could easily happened to the most ordinary of any families. I am so glad that the ending was rounded up well.

Great plot

Grabs the listener and inspires sympathy for the main character; a downtrodden chap who finds himself amongst nasty individuals. The ending was a flurry of conclusions, which I wasn't so keen on.
