Summary

Poor Satan has to undergo yet more trials and tribulations in this fifth series of the Sony Award-winning comedy. What with missing the Professor, a case of Seasonal Affective Disorder, and, above all, the disastrous overcrowding in Hell, he hasn't felt this depressed since Bill Clinton survived his heart operation.

Strangely addictive

Have had to download this series as have enjoyed all of the series. Am a bit worried that I may be forming an addiction. Will definitely download the next one

No prof.. :( But stillA great series.

We get to know Scum spawn about better in this series. In fact there's a little more room to move for all the characters, including more of the inmates, without the professor there. Miss him, though we do.

Hell's the place to go.

With a hell where satan and his right hand demon, scum spawn have fun and games with the humans it sounds like a devilishly good place to be. More of old Harry's game PLEASE.

Hilarious from beginning to end

The genius of Andy Hamilton. There are seven series and a Christmas special, all absolutely first class. Superbly witty, brilliantly performed, a must-have for the collection.

A Demonic Chuckle!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

With its off the wall premise and the sometimes dry sometime silly humour, this is a delight of an audiobook and guaranteed to brighten your day.

What other book might you compare Old Harry's Game to, and why?

Old Harry's Game is incomparable!

Which scene did you most enjoy?

I most enjoy the interactions between Gary & Thomas.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

What the hell......?

Any additional comments?

Old Harry's Game is a delightful bit of silliness. From time to time I would catch it on Radio 4 but could never get enough. I was as pleased as punch to find all the series on Audible and bought them all. This is my go to audiobook when I need cheering up or just fancy a laugh! The only trouble is, once I start, I have to listen to all of the episodes. Familiarity has not dulled the pleasure of listening again and again.

Another classic

This is one of the best BBC radio comedies written. Well worth a listen. Irreverence at its best

Great show!

This series is a departure from the previous series. Satan's attempts to make people avoid Hell, are hilarious.

The fun Continues

Would you listen to Old Harry's Game again? Why?

Yes, depends on your humour but this is good old clean funny. I highly recommend getting a few seasons and if you like the first few episodes .. if you like them get all the series as with the exception of season 7 they are all excellent, season 7 good just not quite the same and a little more repetition .
