S Massery continues to keep me glued to ear buds as I am completely obsessed with this series. These complex character have a story to tell, and each twist and turn leaves us to a new conclusion. Fighter lets us get to know Jace, Apollo, Wolfe and Kora better as well as meet the vengeance and violence of the Hellhounds and Titans. Cerebus, Wolfe's father and leader of the Hellhounds is extremely manipulative and power hungry. Controlling the boys is just the tip of the iceberg. The Titans are getting restless and Kronos is on the warpath. The question is will the two gangs begin the war, and who will be collateral damage. So many unpredictable circumstances, so many feelings growing, so many betrayals and deceptions. And this cliffhanger is one that left me hanging and a little angry at the situation. I need book 3 now!

Addison Barnes and Tyler Darby continue on bringing this incredible series to life. I love their interpretation of the story, the suspense building and the passion flaring has us on edge and these two are doing a wonderful job keeping us there!

This will pick up where Thief left us hanging, the suspense kept climbing, with new twists and turns in every direction imaginable. Kora's story is not an easy one, she is struggling hard in this one, she gets to find her strength and when you think you got it figured out, nope you are sorely mistaken, and another twist and turn it goes. Apollo, Jace, and Wolfe are very different characters, the relationship part, well they don't even have it all figured out, let alone us, but the development we see in this book certainly is appealing. This is an intense wild ride, so be prepared and yes we so need the next book now! The audiobook narrated by Addison Barnes and Tyler Darby is as good as the first one, but it somehow got more intense, I guess they already know the characters and it showed. I love the audiobook, so it's totally recommended for anyone that likes them.

The weak pathetic mfc is beyond irritating! Whiny inner monologues, ridiculously stupid decisions. Honestly I loved the rest and it maybe wouldn't have been as bad with a different female narrator with a less whiny quivering voice, but honestly I kept having to pause before I launched my phone out of the window. Hoping she gets her act together in the next book 😬
I'm still giving it full stars because of the drama, storyline, spice etc. Plus the male narration was perfect and the mmcs pov chapters are keeping me sane 😅
