Beneath the tranquil surface of a North Texas town, the future of the human race awaits....

After 40 years, members of the global conspiracy known only as the Project are finally nearing the completion of their plans. Audiobook of the movie (nearly)

Was initially surprised to discover this was the xfiles movie (recognised it from the first sentence 😄). Interesting to *listen* to it for a change, and fun knowing some of the dialogue before it was said. But… what did they do to the ending?? Why chop it off so abruptly and without 2 key scenes from the movie? I had to rewind to check I hadn’t accidentally skipped a bit 🤷🏻‍♀️

excellent

it wasn't until I started listening that I realised that this was an adapted screenplay from the X-Files film.
having watched the film several times it was interesting to relive it in this format. none of the excitement and pace was lost and Patrick Lawler's narration was excellent as usual.
a great listen for any X-Files fan!

Passable.

Great story enjoyed it. Will never be quite the same without the real mulder and scully but was still decent.
