Do not get this!

This audiobook is atrocious, although it’s a really well curated selection of stories you will never pay attention to them. You will hear nothing but the narrator. I was so annoyed I stopped what I was doing and immediately returned the book.

The Narrator from Hell

What would have made Fifty Classic Horror Stories better?

The Narrator

What other book might you compare Fifty Classic Horror Stories to, and why?

Fifty classic gothic stories

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I have never heard narration like it ..it's almost impossible to describle and apparently she has narrated many, many books her voice is so strange that you become obsessed with listening to her voice and not the story ...If I met her in real life ..I would have to have a word with her !

What character would you cut from Fifty Classic Horror Stories?

none ...just the narrator !

Any additional comments?

yes please re release these amazing collections with a different narrator, thank you, have a nice day :)

DON'T BUY THIS

it does not matter how good these short stories are ..the narrator is ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING... I am contacting audible to try and get a refund....it is the worst narration I have heard and I used to listen on the free apps.

Perfectly Terrible Narrator!

An excellent collection of well written old favourites and new stories.
The narration was unbelievably Off-putting! Unfortunately the narrator employs this extremely bad and annoying speech pattern with the same inflection on the last word of every sentence which prevents the listener to ever get emerged into the story throughout the book.
This is more Librivox than Audible!
Such a shame!
