Great humour

This had me laughing in quite a few places. Good characters, and I storyline that I feel is only just beginning! Can’t wait for more. Brilliant narration from Susan.

An okay experience.

A light and short book. The “fated mates” thing acts as a crutch to have Lola and Rachel move in with the guys, saving up on actual relationship building – which does happen later, but I admit it doesn’t feel like enough. Besides Rachel, none of Lola’s interactions with her mates feel anywhere near romantic enough to justify an eternal bond. Fingers crossed the next book improves on this. The narrator’s delivery was distractingly flat. There was no attempt to give any of the characters a distinctive voice, which made some scenes confusing since everyone sounds the same. For example, there’s a scene where Lola’s drunk and searching for Rachel – but because everyone sounds the same, I wasn’t sure she had found Rachel or had drunkenly mistaken a guy for her. I can’t say it was a bad narration, but I’d be lying if I said I enjoyed it, either. But like the plot, I am hoping this, too, improves with the next book.

Dragon Games

This book was a lot of fun to listen to, Lola seems so oblivious to whats happening around her, and with her best friend, Rachel. Lola's decided she doesn't want mates because she'd lose Rachel, but still manages to find them while attending a gaming tourament! I loved that she stood up for her beliefs, and the happy ending, I can't wait to see what happens in book 2!

Fifth Soul!!!!!!!!!

I wish this was longer than three hours! I wasn't expecting to laugh as much as I did, but there was unexpected humor. There were a few times I had to play parts back because I laughed through it. The narration was awesome, and the story left me wanting more. I didn't know what to expect, but I wasn't disappointed!

Fifth Soul

While I don’t normally go for the shorter reads and listens I have found a great fondness for Laura Greenwood’s books. I love her characters, the twists that some of them have, the storylines are fun and fast paced. I wish they were a bit longer and fuller stories to really get to know the characters but that won’t stop me from listening to the ones that I can’t get a hold of. The narration by Susan Greenway was well done and I greatly enjoyed the performance.

Great Short Listen

Going into this shorter listen, I didnt really know what I was getting into as the universe is new to me. I thought this was a fun listen. It moved pretty quickly and Lola was pretty quirky. There is some humor in this sweet paranormal romance. I like the style and the characters were interesting (from the little we know about them), I would happily read more from this universe.

The narrator gave an excellent performance!

This was so much fun! <3 <3 <3

This audiobook was excellent. It was so much fun and so sweet. It's not the normal kind of book that I would like in some ways, but I loved it! I guess you could consider this a reverse harem type of book. Usually those books are full of crazy sex scenes. But this one was different and it was kind of refreshing. I go back and forth in my feelings about Lola though. Sometimes I loved her and sometimes I found her a little on the annoying side. But the story is fabulous and so funny! I found myself laughing out loud a lot. And the narrator was AMAZING. She really brought this story to life. Overall, I am a huge fan and I look forward to reading/listening to more.

Cute, short poly listen!

This does include LGBT themes, which I wasn't aware of, but was pleasantly surprised! Here's my reasoning for the 3-star. I DID like it...but...the story follows a VERY socially awkward character. Usually I don't mind that, because I am as well...but this was a bit over the top. It is also very short and the plot seems rushed. Since these are so short, I love dragon shifters, and I love the premise, I am going to listen on hoping the plot becomes a bit more developed.

I give the narrator 4/5. I am in the US, so UK narrators aren't always easy to understand, but Susan does a great job! She's pleasant to listen to and easy to understand. I also feel like she brings this socially awkward character and her fellow characters to life well. I'd definitely listen to her again!

Lola’s always known she has three fated mates, but as an outcast, her best friend doesn’t. So when yet another mating ceremony comes around, Lola would rather skip it in favour of a gaming tournament. where she meets Martin in the little bar,
then Hector from the Renegade circles and his teammates want her to join their team ,
it's a very good first book in the series I love the narration she was fabulous and the storyline was different from the usual style that I like but it was good looking forward to the next book in the series

Different spin on dragon shifter RH

I usually prefer more steam but this is only book one of the series so I hope it picks up steam. I was surprised that after the mating ceremony they have all only kissed. Also this book feels a little teen YA to me?? I hope it’s not.

4/5

Fifth Soul is the first book in the Renegade Dragons series. Fifth Soul is about finding and fighting for love. Although billed as a Reverse Harem there is only a little bit of kissing. Lola's story is about defending who you love and not being afraid to stand up for what is right for you.

I received this audiobook for free from Audiobook Obsessions. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Unique Reverse Harem

This was a really good start to a new series! Lola is a fire dragon shifter and is destined to have three mates. She is fiercely loyal to her best friend Rachel and refuses to mate so she doesn’t leave her best friend alone and isolated. Once Lola meets her mates, Hector, Martin, and Todd, the undeniable chemistry between them changes everything. I really enjoyed Lola and Rachel’s personalities and how they were so different from each other. I haven’t read many dragon shifter books or gamer books and I felt like this was very well written.
Susan did a great job with this narration! It was a refreshing change from Laura’s other narrators and I really appreciated a deeper female voice that fit Lola and Rachel perfectly and brought them to life. I loved Susan’s accent and her voice flowed flawlessly between characters.

Shifting gamers what could be better

Being a gamer this one touches me on a personal level, where can I get me three sexy shifter gamers for a harem? I love how Lola found her mates while attending a gaming competition and how one of her mates was someone she never expected. The narrator did a great job with the book
