Summary
Poppy Day is an ordinary woman. She's a 32-year-old stay-at-home mum with two gorgeous children, while her husband Mart tours with the army. Her simplest pleasure is having her family together in a happy home. But Poppy is too busy to notice the fatigue in her body and the menacing lump growing on her breast. If there's anyone strong enough to defeat cancer it's Poppy. But does life really work like that?

So Sad
What a sad story which left me feeling depressed after each listening session. I told myself to delete it. The trouble is that Amanda Prowse writes so well that I was unable to leave it alone so I acquired a big box of tissues and carried on listening. Still snivelling to the end, I am quickly going to move on to one of Amanda's other books and hope it is more cheerful.

Beautifully written and heart touching story
If you have tears to cry and can't release them then this story will make them flow. Superb from beginning to end the realism of the story and consequences you know are coming aren't delivered in a flowery or covered up way. They are delivered with feelings of such depth you can feel the pain of each and every one in the story. This made me cry like nothing has made me cry in s long time xXx

Wiil you Remember me.
Loved it, great story, well narrated. Poppy and her family became very real and although the outcome was inevitable I couldn't have not listened till the end.

This audiobook is in my top five for this year
Sad yet uplifting. I don't usually cry over books, but this one choked me up. Especially loved the epilogue.

Well written
I don't think I've cried so much listening to a book before. My children are very young which made it awful to imagine being in that situation and really got me about the youngest son not remembering her. But I have just seen on audible that there is a Poppy Day book too and wonder if I should have listened to this one first, but it doesn't say book 1 or book 2.
