Summary

Coming home is hard for Lane. Hard because Harry, her beloved uncle, has died suddenly, but also because of him. Kale.
Kale Hunt has been her best friend since childhood. But it was never that simple. He was Lane's reason for leaving home and moving to New York. Seeing him with someone else, in love with someone else, shouldn't have hurt. But it did. It really, really did. So she upped sticks and left, started a new life and cut herself off from her past.
But now she's back and all the feelings are right there. As if she had never left.
Emotions are running high for everyone, and tragedy has a funny way of bringing people together. But is Lane reading the signs right? Are they still just friends, or is there something more?

I loved this story
I have read and listened to so many books, these also included books written by L. A. Casey she writes in such a way that you get into the book and forget that you are ready about fictional characters and just think that they are really, to a fact that you want to talk to them and console them as a friend for them to lean on you.
You get sucked into the story and lives of these lovely people and you can't help but read on and try to find out what happens next.
I cried so much in this book and they are for obvious reasons when or if you have read this book.
this book will give you a sense of FAMILY and that family is everything... to which I agree.
L. A. Casey I have read many of your books and to which comes to no surprise. I will continue on with reading, I hope for many more books to read in the near by future.

a toughing read, a recommended read
love this author's books I've read nearly all, this book brought a smile to my face and I also found myself crying an even though it kept going from present to past it worked really well please keep the books coming I'm always on the look out for new books by this author and glad she is final on audio books hoping the Slater brother's set will be added in audio

Shocked by the explicit sex scenes didn’t finish it as not into cheap thrills
