Summary
After a painful loss, Cady Moreland is coming to Magdalene to start the next chapter of her life. A chapter that began 18 years ago but had a heartbreaking ending. This is a great book. With really well written characters and a heart wrenching storyline. I loved how these characters came together again. A brilliant performance.

Narrator is awful
I’ve read most of Kristen Ashley’s books and I’ve listened to a couple. This narrator (Erin Mallory) seems to end every sentence with a breathless, angst laden and broken tone exhalation. It’s irritating, unnecessary and worst of all pulls you out of the story. I couldn’t finish this story, which is enjoyable in its written form, as the narrator over emotes every line, male or female. I will avoid anything by this narrator in future as it seems to be her style

Disappointed
Kristen Ashley lost her"Umph " on this one- hung on in as I felt there must be an improvement but no it just went on & on - all could have been said in third of the time
