Summary

It's getting hot (and heavy) in Hollywood!

Grace Sheridan is flying high. With scorching passion from her gorgeous Brit superstar Jack Hamilton plus the lead role in a new television dramedy, she could just pinch herself. Then a demand from her show's directors to drop fifteen pounds brings her back down to earth with a thump. Forced to subsist on air, cucumbers, and boot camp, Grace wonders if the body that brings the newly crowned "Sexiest Man Alive" to his knees is just too booty-licious for Hollywood. Jack, meanwhile, seems overly enamored of the celebrity lifestyle. Forbidden by his publicity-conscious manager to reveal his relationship with Grace, he's hitting the industry party scene way too hard.

As Grace's bod incites fiery debate about the message of "thin is in," Jack's jealous fans are downing the hate-erade, viciously slamming her curves. Grace longs for Jack's support, but he's showing up late and disheveled to her most important moments. With tempers between them flaring, Hollywood's most talked-about redhead might have more to lose than a few stubborn pounds. She and Jack were clearly made for each other - but will the day ever come when they can walk the red carpet together, hand in hand?

Foolish Choices

I can't say who was more foolish: Grace for wasting her time with boy toy Jack or me for buying all 3 books in this series before starting a long road trip. I spent a lot of time hitting the fast forward button, hoping in vain for the good part that never happened.

Everyone Sounds The Same!!

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I am torn, as I am a fan of Alice Clayton's Redhead series, but the performance of the audiobooks are missing something.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Redhead Plays Her Hand?

The ending was pretty epic.

Did Keili Lefkovitz do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Kelli was great as the main character, but all of the other characters sounded just like her. The main man was British, but in the story he sounded just like Grace. I am spoiled by readers who do accents I guess....

Any additional comments?

Grace was great, I wish that the other characters' personalities came through as well in the audiobook series.

Favorite series

Would you listen to The Redhead Plays Her Hand again? Why?

Yes, it is a great pick me up.

Which character – as performed by Keili Lefkovitz – was your favorite?

Grace of course - girl next door makes good

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Grace decided Jack was more important than the safety of anonymity.

Awesome!

If you could sum up The Redhead Plays Her Hand in three words, what would they be?

Heartbreaking, romantic and FINALLY :)

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Redhead Plays Her Hand?

The ending

What does Keili Lefkovitz bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She is amazing and really brings the books to life! I actually prefer this series in audio rather than reading because the narration is the best.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed and cried..

Any additional comments?

Great series performed by a great narrator

Thoroughly enjoyed the Redhead Trilogy

Any additional comments?

Thoroughly enjoyed the three books in the Redhead series! It's been a long time since I've listened to a good book, really got into the storyline and narration was perfect! Felt like I could really get to know and like the main character! Makes me think I'll be going back for other Alice Clayton books!

Great characters!

What did you love best about The Redhead Plays Her Hand?

The book is great, the narrator, not that good. Don't take me wrong, she is good, but there is a british character in the book and she doesn't recreate the accent.

Can you have it all?

Rough ride ahead for the two main characters, but thank goodness for happy endings. You can't help but be frustrated with these two for not seeing the bad apples and finding a way to make it work sooner, but it all works out in the end. A good finish to the series.

Alice Clayton Rocks!!!

What made the experience of listening to The Redhead Plays Her Hand the most enjoyable?

I just finished this series. It is wickedly funny. I laughed out loud so often my family thought I was Nuts (Also Alice's other funny book). Narration was very good though having a guy doing a British accent would have made it even better. Great book series

Great ending....just wish there was more!
I would be so happy to have at least one more with these characters. Currently experiencing that let down feeling when you get to the bottom of the box of chocolates.😫😊
