Wonderful !

A joy to feel a part of this heartwarming depiction of the early 20th century history of San Francisco and the people whose drive and ambition caused it to rise up out of the ashes of the 1906 earthquake and on into the Great Depression of 1929 and it’s early aftermath. LGK

Tedious story badly read

If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

I cannot think of anyone who would enjoy this performance of the story

The problem is not with the genre. It is with this particular example of it.

Who might you have cast as narrator instead of full cast?

ANYONE who could put some life and animation into it

What character would you cut from The Immigrants?

The story is so badly told it is hard to differentiate between the characters

This definitely rates in the bottom 5% of any audiobook I've listened to.
