But all families have secrets. When the children leave home, Clover and Laura's lives and marriages change forever, and the old rules on love and loyalty no longer apply. Without the children, can their marriages - and friendship - survive? Join the gang for their latest animal adventures at the one and only Silver Street Farm.

Perfect literary 'chick lit'

I was gripped by the storyline and the characterisation in this my first Nina Bell audiobook. The reader was perfect. My only criticism is that most of the characters were not particularly likeable!

Okay, but drags and seems to go nowhere!

I have found this to be just okay, but it does drag, with nothing much happening. It’s also a bit overwritten in places (excessive flowery language). I am now into chapter 34, with less than 3-hours to go and think I may return it. I’m struggling to maintain an interest.
