Publisher's Summary

She took a dare and fell in love. Truth would have been the smarter choice.

After years of living under her father's thumb, Emmeline is ready to break free. She's abandoned her life as a New York socialite to follow her dream of becoming a kindergarten teacher in a small, wholesome town. Seeing the man that nearly broke her was absolutely not what she had hoped to find in Prescott, Montana.

Nick hasn't seen his Emmy in nine years, but that doesn't mean he's forgotten a thing about the woman he loves. After just one blissful night as man and wife, he gave her up, sacrificing his own happiness to keep her safe - far away from him. But the moment she walks back into his lonely life is the moment he decides never to let her go again. He won't waste his second chance. All he has to do is win back Emmeline's heart, keep her safe from the shadows in his past, and prove to her that taking a wager on him is a sure bet.

I freaking enjoyed this book, Emmy and Nick are a match made for each other. I love that Emmy is snarky and yet she totally can’t stay away from Nick not matter what.

I really found Logan to be a stand-up guy he, he didn’t have to be so nice. I am glad that part of the story turned out the way it did.

Ahhh but the story totally gets twisty and I love that! Just when you think it is going to go one way it goes another.. Perfect! Loved it.

I did wish we had gotten a little more update on Mason. We did but we didn’t he was a pretty big part of the story and then he wasn’t and I get it but I wanted a follow up or something.

Very much loved Gigi and Mazy making an appearance.

If you love small towns as much as I do then you need to pick up this book. Beaus it has it all the sweet and the sexy.

Also the narrators are freaking perfect, they bring these characters to life with emotion and tone and you can’t ask for more than that.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

"A story that engrosses and entertains!"

After reading The Coppersmith Farmhouse I was excited to go back to Jamison Valley for another story but I waited for the audiobook release and didn’t regret that decision. The Clover Chapel is an awesome audiobook with great narration by Ava Erickson and Joe Arden.

“Let’s get married,” Nick whispered into my ear.
“What?” I gasped, turning to look up at him with wide eyes. Where had that come from?
“Let’s get married. You said you wanted crazy. Nothing is crazier than two people who just met getting hitched in Las Vegas.”

What a great blend of insta-love, Vegas wedding, second-chance, with some mystery and danger thrown in for a story that engrossed and entertains!!

    Story
"They haven’t seen each other for 9 years! "

This audiobook is the second in this series I’ve listened to and I enjoyed it very much. The heroine and hero meet in Las Vegas, where a series of dares brings them to an unexpected place. Then suddenly, he’s gone and she’s left picking up pieces of her heart. Fast forward 9 years and they come face to face in the most surprising way. Can they overcome 9 years of absence, or is it too late? The story was refreshingly different and I liked the way the author kept a few things back until the end. The narration was spot-on and the ending happy. Looking forward to more by this author!

"Another solid story in the series. Great narration"

This story had so much heart and emotion... It was trully a delight to experience. I dived into this series by seing so many recomendations and am glad I did. This second chance story is very well crafted but what makes it a stand out are the many elements of the town, it's people, family, friends... the sense of community. You latch on to these people and the stories and one can't help but root for them. Again, very solid narration.

    "4.5 Second Chance Stars!"

Audible Review: I loved both narrators for this book. Both Ava Erickson and Joe Arden did a fantastic job. I'm pretty picky when a female impersonates a male and vice versa and I have no complaints with these two.

Story Review: I'm pretty much hooked on Devney Perry's Alpha Hero's. While second chance romances aren't my favorite, Nick's actions towards Emmeline when she came back into his life made this a good one.

Nick pursued Emmeline like his life depended on it and that's what I needed to see after he let her go 9 years prior. I also liked how the author had these two work together on their issues and had little pushing away by Emmeline. I'm not a fan of pushing away.

I enjoyed seeing Gigi and Jess again as well as the rest of the gang. Knowing that future books will involve all these people just has me more invested in the series. I'm really looking forward to the next one.
