Summary

Come along for a chilling ride on a ghost ship, experience eerie daydreams and psychotic killers, explore haunted houses, and send the deceased to their final destination.

And that's just a few of the thrills!

Edited and compiled by Amazon best-selling author Dan Alatorre, this anthology of scary tales brings together the minds and pens of 20 authors. Featuring stories from: best-selling author Jenifer Ruff (Everett), best-selling author Allison Maruska (The Fourth Descendant), best-selling author Dan Alatorre (The Navigators), Lucy Brazier (PorterGirl series), J. A. Allen, award-winning author Juliet Nubel, T. A. Henry, award-winning author Anne Marie Andrus, award-winning author Heather Hackett, Barbara Anne Helberg, Scott Skipper, Joanne R. Larner, award-winning author Christine Valentor, award-winning author Adele Marie Park, Curtis Bausse, award-winning author Annette Robinson, Frank Parker, Eric Daniel Clarke, Carrie Ann Alexis, and award-winning author Maribel C. Pagan.

Perfect for Halloween or any time, these stories will make you think twice before walking alone on the beach at night, reading a diary, or innocently watching a train from your car. Consider yourselves warned.

Note: American and British spelling ahead. A few stories words are olde English, too. The story "The Death of Mrs. Billen" by Mr. Alatorre is from his novel An Angel on Her Shoulder, used with permission.

A bit like the "curates egg"

Some stories were way too short, they were all read very well, but all by the same reader, which had the effect of a lot of them were flowing into each other… Fine for a feature length book but not for short stories because of character definition. On the whole it was entertaining. Personal impressions, about 16 of them, were, in the main, all pretty good but the shorter titles, (10 minutes or less) were "shelf fillers".
