When I’m offered the chance to leave New York to live in London for three months, I can’t pack my suitcase fast enough. As soon as I touch down, I’m obsessing over red telephone boxes, palaces, and all the black cabs. But my favorite place is the tube. It’s wall-to-wall hot British men in suits.
Self-made billionaire Nathan Trainor feels restless and disillusioned. His company may be thriving, but he can't find a woman who sees him for more than his wealth. With his love life in the red, he meets two other billionaire bachelors at the ultra-exclusive Bellwether Club. The three of them make a wager of the heart: they must find women who love them for who they are, not their money.
Blind dates? Online dating profiles? Been there, done that. Georgia Cummings has zero luck with dating, and the era of the Internet is not her friend. No matter how fast she runs, how many corners she turns, she can't find her way out of this weird, alternate universe where men think dick pics are a replacement for small talk and getting to know a girl. One more crotch selfie and she might write men off for good. But why can't she stop fantasizing about him?
A tyrant by day, a playboy by night. That's the reputation that precedes Richard VanRyan. He lives life the way he wants, no concern for the opinion of others. He cares for no one, is completely unrepentant, and has no desire to change his ways. Katharine Elliott works under Richard as his PA. She despises him and his questionable ethics, but endures all the garbage he sends her way, because she needs the job.
I keep my two worlds separate. At work, I'm King of Wall Street. The heaviest hitters in Manhattan come to me to make money. They do whatever I say because I'm always right. I'm shrewd. Exacting. Some say ruthless. At home, I'm a single dad trying to keep his 14-year-old daughter a kid for as long as possible. If my daughter does what I say, somewhere there's a snowball surviving in hell. And nothing I say is ever right.
As one of Hollywood's A-listers, I have the movie industry in the palm of my hand. But if I'm going to stay at the top, my playboy image needs an overhaul. No more tabloid headlines. No more parties. And absolutely no more one-night stands. Filming for my latest blockbuster takes place on the coast of Maine, and I'm determined to stay out of trouble. But trouble finds me when I run into Lana Kelly.

Jamie Connors has given up on finding a man. Despite being smart, pretty, and just slightly overweight, she's a magnet for the kind of guys that don't stay around. Her sister's wedding is at the foreground of the family's attention. Jamie would be fine with it if her sister wasn't pressuring her to lose weight so she'll fit in the maid of honor dress, her mother would get off her case, and her ex-boyfriend wasn't about to become her brother-in-law. Determined to step out on her own, she accepts a PA position from billionaire Alex Reid....
Anna Kirby is sick of dating. She's tired of heartbreak. Despite being smart, sexy, and funny, she's a magnet for men who don't deserve her. A week's vacation in New York is the ultimate distraction from her most recent break-up, as well as a great place to meet a stranger and have some summer fun. But to protect her still-bruised heart, fun comes with rules. There will be no sharing stories, no swapping numbers, and no real names. Just one night of uncomplicated fun.
I was born into British aristocracy, but I've made my fortune in Manhattan. New York is now my kingdom. Back in Britain, my family is fighting over who's the next Duke of Fairfax. The rules say it's me - if I'm married. It's not a trade-off worth making. I could never limit myself to just one woman. Or so I thought until my world is turned upside down. Now, the only way I can save the empire I built is to inherit the title I've never wanted - so I need a wife. To take my mind off business I need a night that's all pleasure.
Every girl has dreams of meeting Prince Charming, or at least I know I did. A fairy-tale-like meeting of love at first sight. Real life and fairy tales are very different. I'm just a small-town Indiana girl who had a chance encounter with one of Hollywood's golden boys. You may think you know where this story goes - not even close. Life is different. Marriage is hard. It's even worse when you're strangers.
Meeting Beth Harrison in the first-class cabin of my flight from Chicago to London throws me for a loop, and everything I know about myself and women goes out the window. I'm usually good at reading people, situations, the markets. I know instantly if I can trust someone or if they're lying. But Beth is so contradictory and confounding, I don't know which way is up.
When you think about how easy it is to lose keys, phones, sunglasses and your dignity on social media, you might figure it'd be a cinch for me to ditch my V Card. You'd be wrong. At 25, I run a successful business, live in a fantastic apartment, and have fabulous friends to go out with any night of the week. And yet I'm still a card-carrying member of a club I don't want to belong to anymore. Good thing I know just the man for the deflowering job - my brother’s business partner and best friend.
Called an eccentric beast by the citizens of Amesport, Maine, handsome billionaire Grady Sinclair stays isolated in his mansion on a private peninsula. The arrangement suits Grady just fine - until an angelic woman rings his doorbell, awaking his long dormant passion with her fearlessness. All he wants is to make the fiery blonde his forever. But will he have to become the monster everyone thinks he is to get his Christmas wish?
My relationship with Hunter Delucia started backwards. We met at a wedding—him sitting on the groom’s side, me sitting on the bride’s. Stealing glances at each other throughout the night, there was no denying an intense, mutual attraction. I caught the bouquet; he caught the garter. Hunter held me tightly while we danced and suggested we explore the chemistry sparking between us. His blunt, dirty mouth should’ve turned me off. But for some crazy reason, it had the opposite effect on me. We ended up back in my hotel room. The next morning, I headed home to New York leaving him behind in California with the wrong number. I thought about him often, but after my last relationship, I’d sworn off of charming, cocky, gorgeous-as-sin men. A year later, Hunter and I met again at the birth of our friends’ baby. Our attraction hadn't dulled one bit. After a whirlwind trip, he demanded a real phone number this time. So I left him with my mother’s—she could scare away any man with her talks of babies and marriage—and flew back home. I’d thought it was funny, until the following week when he rang the bell at Mom’s house for Sunday night dinner. The crazy, gorgeous man had won over my mother and taken an eight-week assignment in my city. He proposed we spend that time screwing each other out of our systems. Eight weeks of mind-blowing sex with no strings attached? What did I have to lose?
Jackson "The Beast" Boudreaux is rich, gorgeous, and unbelievably rude to the staff at Chef Bianca Hardwick's New Orleans restaurant. Bianca would sooner douse herself in hot sauce than cook for Jackson again, but when he asks her to cater his fundraiser, Bianca can't refuse, knowing the cash will help pay her mother's medical bills. Then Jackson makes another outrageous request: Marry me. The unconventional offer includes an enormous sum - money Bianca desperately needs, even if it does come with a contract - and a stunning ring.
The first time I met Chase Parker, I didn't exactly make a good impression. I was hiding in the bathroom hallway of a restaurant, leaving a message for my best friend to save me from my awful date. He overheard and told me I was a bitch, then proceeded to offer me some dating advice. So I told him to mind his own damn business and went back to my miserable date. I couldn't help but sneak hidden glances at the condescending jerk on the other side of the room. Of course, he caught me on more than one occasion, and winked.
I've made every one of my billions of dollars myself - I'm calculating, astute and the best at what I do. It takes drive and dedication to build what I have. And it leaves no time for love or girlfriends or relationships. But don't get me wrong, I'm not a monk. I understand the attention and focus it takes to seduce a beautiful woman. They're the same skills I use to close business deals. But one night is where it begins and ends. I'm not the guy who sends flowers. I'm not the guy who calls the next day.
Ruby Scott is months behind on rent and can't seem to land a steady job. She has one chance to turn things around with a big audition. But instead of getting her big break, she gets sick as a dog and completely bombs it in the most humiliating fashion. All thanks to a mysterious, gorgeous guy who kissed - and then coughed on - her at a party the night before.
Indecent Proposal
Manwhore. That's what the board of directors - and the tabloids - think of billionaire bachelor Reese Crane. Ordinarily he couldn't care less, but his playboy past is preventing the board from naming him CEO of Crane Hotels. Nothing - and no one - will keep him from his life's legacy. They want a settled man to lead the company? Then that's exactly what he'll give them.
Merina Van Heusen will do anything to get her parents' funky boutique hotel back - even marry cold-as-ice-but-sexy-as-hell Reese Crane. It's a simple business contract - six months of marriage, absolute secrecy, and the Van Heusen is all hers again.
But when sparks fly between them, their passion quickly moves from the boardroom to the bedroom. And soon Merina is living her worst nightmare: falling in love with her husband....
Ace book, just the kind of a love injection for a boring day
Fantastic narrator
I really liked this narrator. I'd been in a funk where I was not liking many narrators. But this one brought the characters to life!
This book is a 5 star re listen any day any time. I finished it in 1 day!

We all know that there are a lot of these types of storylines floating around... an arranged marriage of convenience with an end date which turns into the real thing - and they're usually quite predictable, easy-going, light and fun. And so was this listen... but there was so much more depth to the story which was expertly narrated by Sasha Dunbrooke who brought to life the cold-hearted sexy handsome Playboy Billionaire Reese who'd been hurt and devastated before so vowed he was never going to let a woman hurt him again.... until he got to know Merina. Sasha also breathed life into the strong-willed, feisty, independent and beautiful Merina as she fought for what she wanted.... which slowly changed from bricks and mortar to flesh and blood. Reese thought his only destiny was to become CEO but it turned out to be an empty lonely and cold place without love and without Merina.
An addictive can't stop listening to it story that started out being between rivals and enemies... but over shared time and kisses for the Share Holders and tabloids, slowly developed into the real thing. There were times when Reese forgot his promise and let the impenetrable walls around his heart fall for a time but unfortunately he was his own worst enemy because he just couldn't get past his past... and up went those walls again. Merina was unsuspecting and unaware of Reese's past... but slowly the secrets of his past were revealed and rather than run she clung on to the hope that somehow she would conquer his demons and have it all.... but unfortunately it wasn't going to be that easy.
A really entertaining listen, great banter, humor, passion, seismic chemistry and toe curling sex... however it wasn't without some heartache and pain. This was a good story, but I'm sure what notched it up a degree was the awesome narration. Dual POV's and of course there's a wonderful HEA eventually waiting for us romantics to sigh over.
Worth a credit? I love bad boy Billionaires and the strong women who infiltrate their lofty indulgent lives and tame them so I was expecting to enjoy an entertaining four star listen.... however the characters - especially the emotionally broken Reese, the situations this doomed couple found themselves caught up in and the awesome narration easily brought it into the five star very creditworthy rating.

Practically Porn! ...
Detailed sex scenes, and lots if it. BEWARE! First book of hers AND WILL NOT listen to any other of Jessica Lemmon books.
The book kept my interest and was very well narrated. But it was one of the contrived fake marriage for gain stories and put together with several mundane sex exploits. Not very deep at all. However, I will say that the author has talent, but this story was too predictable and sappy. The plot - Reece needs a wife to prove to the board that he is the settled person they need to run the massive company. Merino is the perfect candidate because Reece has bought her hotel, which she loves, and is threatening to gut it and rehab it into a place Merino believes has no soul. He offers to deed her hotel back to her if she will agree to a temporary marriage and a performance to assure the board that Reece is settled. I am sure you know what happens.
Love the writing style. Good flow, hot scenes, sprinkled with humor. The perfect rom-com with sizzle. I'm getting the next book now.
Enjoyed listening...Sasha did a great job! well done, and well written. I recommend reading it!
I really liked this story. great love story. loved the characters. I liked the fact that Merina was such a strong woman and always stood firm..a little tyrant at the beginning as the exception! pretty pleased with the narration.
