Josephine: It was the worst blind date in the history of the universe, until Holden Winters swept in and rescued me. Are you kidding? Holden Winters? In their secret world, unspoken wishes for pleasure come true...and the allure of glamour and passion can easily disguise a deadly secret.
After a tumultuous riches-to-rags childhood, Ian Kerr decided to spend his life focused on making money - and it's paid off. Then he meets sassy, smart-mouthed bike messenger Victoria "Tiny" Corielli, and he wants nothing more than to introduce her to his world of elite luxury...and enticing desire. But a businessman as ruthless as Ian always has enemies lurking in the shadows - the kind of enemies who violently claimed his parents and are willing to use Victoria as a pawn in their deadly game.
Plucked from her lowly walk-up apartment and financial struggles into a glittering world of wealth and privilege, Victoria is almost overwhelmed...and almost delirious with insatiable desire for Ian. Then sensuality turns to serious peril as Ian's rivals - and the people Victoria thought she could trust - close in, putting her in jeopardy. Torn between the temptation of carnal passion and the terror of unfathomable danger, she discovers that the dark side of suddenly having it all is knowing you could lose everything.
Well after the first book I had high hopes for this listen told from Ian's POV but what a total disappointment. Now hold on because I'm about to rant here. He was totally and utterly consumed, absorbed and obsessed about Tiny, Tiny's body, Tiny's courage, in depth details about Tiny's juices (I know yuk right but it had to be said) and anything in Tiny's life. His Company, his long awaited revenge and his billions were rapidly going down the drain but his focus was on when was the next time he could get into her was. He was a 32 year old successful Gazillionaire who acted and sounded like a love struck jealous teen only interested in sex with Tiny.... he sadly didn't have the Alpha businessman feel like so many of his predecessors in this genre. Tiny wasn't much better - she put herself in danger, didn't quite come clean about certain activities and her poor me I'm a dyslexic attitude got boring.
There was plenty of romance but it was drowned out by the dirty talk, orgasms and sex.
There was a bit of drama but again it was drowned out by.... ditto - ditto and ditto.
Worth a credit? Thankfully, at under $10 I didn't use one but, IMO, NO to a credit and NO to cash as it was just a sex sex sex plot - sex sex sex bit of angst - sex sex sex bit of anti-climatic drama - sex sex sex at last a bit of action that wasn't between Tiny's legs and then, thank the Heavens, a HEA ending.

Lots of sex scenes which kinda reminded me of crossfire series and not enough of a developed plot. It had potential though. Some side plots didn't make much sense to me like why didn't the thugs give up Cecelia but whatevs! Still was ok.
I have long been impressed with JF's writing and this one especially. I liked JY's narration of the background characters much better than his voice for Ian, it was too breathy. His female voice was not so great and really atrocious when Victoria was in the throws of passion and KW was not performing the female voice.
But, all and all, this was worth the credit and a good listen……of course, everyone must listen to book 1 first.
