Summary

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author J. Daniels

Author's note: Sweet Addiction should be listened to prior to Sweet Possession.

A sassy, in-your-face baker, a panty-stealing, dirty-talking accountant, and a bathroom quickie that changed their lives forever. Wedding hookups never amount to anything - unless that hookup knocks you on your ass.

For Dylan Sparks and Reese Carroll, the big day can't arrive soon enough. Dylan, stressed to the max from overbearing mothers and last-minute preparations, struggles to keep her sanity. As for Reese, he's fighting not only to keep his bride-to-be safe from creepy investors but also to make it to the actual wedding day without losing his mind in the process.

Throw in a crazy group of friends and a bachelor/bachelorette party weekend getaway and you have a recipe for the sweetest wedding of the year.

Reese Carroll and Dylan Sparks cordially invite you to listen to Sweet Possession.

Warning: This books is recommended for listeners over the age of 18 due to strong language and explicit sexual content.

Like the book but

I like the first book and I love the characters. But I think that they could have gotten both these books in one. Because it seemed way too long for two books. So it begins to get tedious and boring. It also seemed like the friends really had nothing in common with each other besides talking about sex. Don't get me wrong I enjoy my sex in a book very much. But I think there could be a little more depth to the characters. All in all I did enjoy the books

Where have you been?

What made the experience of listening to Sweet Possession the most enjoyable?

Where have you been J Daniels? I think I found my favorite author. Love the series so far. I love how JD doesn't drag the story. Even though it's a series their are no cliffhangers. Very much worth the credit or money. The characters all work together well. I've heard some bad books out there. This one is not one of them. I love the humor. The sex was hot. Yes I do say love a lot but I really did enjoy this book. The narrator was pretty good. I'm picky when it comes to narrators. I can't wait for the next one

Who was your favorite character and why?

All. They really made me laugh at times.

Which scene was your favorite?

This is hard. I really enjoyed many.

Longest 10 Days Ever

This book was too long. I started with the audio book. I enjoyed Piper Goodeve's narration. I thought she did a great job bringing life to the characters just like she did in the first book. I switched to the eBook so I could finish quicker.
The plot with a certain creeper was completely unnecessary.

Loved Dylan, Joey, Juls, and Brooks and their antics. The epilogue was the best. If this book would have been shorter it would have been 5 Stars. It took to long to get to the wedding. Read the book skip the audio version.

Yeah, I'm kinda done...

1.5 stars rounded up

So, yeah, I'm just glad it's over. I won't finish this series. There was just too many times I cringed and not enough time to write it all down. I've listened to "Where I Belong" by the same author and really liked it. There is a crossover between this series and that one, so I decided to give this a try, but after a 2nd, just as difficult to listen book, I'm giving up on it.

Narrator:

Piper Goodeve-5stars-I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt on the wrong words in the story. I've seen reviews where it was mentioned there were tons of mistakes. I'm just guessing the narrator read it as written

Jeremy Arther- 5stars-He was one tiny part at the end, just the epilogue

Here are a few of my thoughts as I was reading (probably some spoilers ahead):

4.20.18-Cringing through most the book, I think it's because I hate this couple. Annoying and mostly selfish heroine, ultra possessive hero. Then I hear this "His words have me wanting to feel his lips against mine, even if he has been puking his guts up" . ........... what kind of nasty is that?? Sidenote, I don't think this heroine is short, so why does she need a chair to get a key off the top of the the doorjamb? I'm 5'2" and I can reach without a chair.....

4.19.18-I'm 2 hours into this 8.5 hour book and I'm already re thinking my decision to continue with this series. It started great. I had enough time since I listened to the first one that I didn't remember why I didn't like that one. NOW, I remember one of the main reasons. I HATE this female character, Dillon..?.... I hate Reese. She's annoying and he's overly controlling. Not "allowing" her to wear certain dresses because they might be too revealing is OTT. The whole way it's described, Reese is throwing a bunch of red flags. I'm not sure I can continue :-(

Sweet second book

What a personality - Reese, the main male character is the most passionate, love-obsessed, romantic man. Yikes. He really does make every other man look bad.

This book is the follow up to Sweet Addiction.

The plot centres around the marriage of Reese and Dylan, with challenges along the way. As with the last book, I love how the author writes characters. I love the group of friends she's created.

Many very hot sexy scenes, which is great, but even I fast-forwarded a couple of times.

The narration was excellent.

4 amazing stars

So what do you do when you have a wedding hookup.....marry each other of course! I think the series so far is amusing and the dynamic of the characters Dylan and Reese are good together. I wouldn't necessary say the entire book is a laugh out loud book but it is very entertaining. Also the narration is great.

Great Sequal!

Sequel to Sweet Addiction, the author could have easily ended the story of Dylan and Reese in the first book but I actually enjoyed reading more about them as a couple when all is said and done. They are planning a wedding together so their is obviously more drama to unfold and you get to know all the side characters a bit more in this book. I actually liked Reese even more after reading this book. He was the perfect blend of Alpha male protector to sweet, romantic lover. He was a bit of caveman and I liked it

Reese Carroll can possess me any time he wants.

Between Reese Carroll and Ben Kelly Ms. Daniels has created 2 of my favorite fictional men. Reese is so delicious in his possessiveness and protectiveness over Dylan- the way he loves her is gah, it's just everything!
This book was fun and sexy and just a perfect wrap up to their love story.
