Publisher's Summary

Surrender My Love is a USA TODAY best-seller.

The Bradens are a series of stand-alone romances that may also be enjoyed as part of the larger Love in Bloom series.

Fall in love with Cole Braden in the Bradens of Peaceful Harbor. Hot, sexy, & wickedly naughty second cousins to the Weston, Colorado Bradens we know and love.

In Surrender My Love:

Annalise "Leesa" Avalon never realized that one sentence could change her life until one of her students revealed his crush - and within 24 hours she finds herself under fire. After a grueling investigation that turns her life upside down, she steals away to Peaceful Harbor, Maryland, with a new identity to try to pull herself back together and figure out her next step.

From the outside, Cole Braden lives a charmed life. He's a top orthopedic surgeon with a thriving practice, strong family ties, and friends he adores. But there's a lonely spot inside Cole that no one can see. He has an enormous heart - and a painful past - but the desire to love and be loved is too strong to ignore.

A chance encounter brings Leesa and Cole together, and the attraction is immediate and intense. But a relationship is the last thing Leesa needs - and the only thing Cole wants. Long talks, heated moments, and deep connections are hard to resist, but the harder Cole tries, the more Leesa pulls away. Cole might truly be the right man for Leesa, but is Leesa the right woman for him?

    "Great story"

Surrender My Love is the second book in The Bradens at Peaceful Harbor series. Cole is a hot and sexy, smooth-talking flirt when the story starts. As it develops, he shows that he is family-oriented, a one-woman man seeking his one. Annalise has been hurt by people she thought she could trust when she lost her home, career, and reputation. Turning to Peaceful Harbor, it becomes her safe haven. A chance encounter with Cole turns Annalise's world upside down. Can she ever trust him? What will come of Cole and Annalise? Will they be able to learn to lean on each other and find what they need together? I enjoyed this story and listening to this narrator, and I definitely recommend this book.

    "Open To Love"

Surrender My Love (The Bradens at Peaceful Harbor, MD Cole Braden) by Melissa Foster
I received an audio ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Dr. Cole Braden is a dedicated orthopedic surgeon, family man and great friend who works long hours and doesn't seem to have time for anything else, until he meets Annalise "Leesa" Avalon, new to Peaceful Harbor. There's immediate attraction when they meet at the coffee shop, but Leesa is in Peaceful Harbor trying to decide what direction her life should take.

Leesa suffered character assassination at the hands of one of her students. Although she's been cleared of any wrongdoing she fears the stigma of having been accused of improper behavior will follow her wherever she goes. Once she and Cole get closer, she worries about repercussions to his life as well.

Cole is the quintessential Braden male, sexy, strong, bright and protective. He's so supportive of Leesa, but understands she needs to come to terms with the past in order for them to have a real future. Wanting to fix things for her, but knowing there are some things Leesa needs to do herself, causes no small amount of frustration for Cole as he fears she will leave Peaceful Harbor.

It's a complicated story with self revelations for each character. Their love is real with sizzling heat, yet sweet understanding.

I've become a huge fan of B.J. Harrison who is such a talent at "becoming" each character. I will confess to listening to Surrender My Love more than once. A perfect companion for a long drive.

    Story
"Peaceful Harbor = peace to a turbulent past?"

Cole Braden is a hardworking, driven doctor in Peaceful Harbor. Leesa comes to Peaceful Harbor to stay with a friend and to escape from the aftermath of false accusations in her home town. Cole and Leesa meet at a coffee shop and are attracted to each other but they don't act on it until after seeing each other again at her friend's appointment, because as it turns out, Cole is her doctor.

Leesa has some decisions to make. She won't be at peace until she can put her past behind her. Should she go home? Take a new job in Baltimore? Or stay in Peaceful Harbor? As Cole and Leesa grow closer, that question becomes more and more of an issue.

I loved listening to this book after reading it when it was first released to the print version. There was something about B.J.'s narration of this that made me love Cole even more. I've recently learned that listening to the audio version of these books allows my brain to better visualize and really feel the emotions from the book. I'm addicted to listening to all audio versions of Melissa's books.

    "Another outstanding audiobook"

I have listen to several audiobooks of Melissa Fosters books and the narrator just keeps getting better and better. Not only is the storyline out of this world but the narrator is so freaking fabulous.
Surrender my Love is Cole Braden and Annalise “Leesa” Avalon. Braden who is one of the Peaceful Harbor Braden’s and Leesa is a school teacher hiding away in Peaceful Harbor. I love how Melissa writes how one little boy can change the outcome of so many. We get to see 2 people fall in love and 1 of them is to afraid it will all fall apart because of one lie.
No matter how you listen or read this story it’s fantastic. These Braden’s are just so great to read about and it’s great to get lost listen to one sexy voice read it all to you.
BJ Harrison and his sexy voice just pulls you in and you won’t want to stop listening. He has narrated so many of Melissa Fosters books and he is just outstanding. I will be looking for more audiobooks that he has narrated, the story could be horrible and having him read it would make it awesome, however with a Melissa Foster book, it just makes it a 10 Star audiobook. So thank you Melissa for writing such an amazing book and for having BJ Harrison narrate it.
Everyone you will simply love listening to BJ read Surrender My Love!!!! Enjoy and get those headphones fixed and cleaned and put them on your ears!!!!

    Story
    "The Doctor's in Love"

I have to say that I am now not only addicted to Melissa Foster books but, also listening to BJ Harrison narrate them!! The feelings he inflects throughout the entirety of the story just gives you a mental note at what Cole is feeling when Leesa explains her problems...or when Leesa is dealing with the aftermath of the lose of her career and reputation...or her wariness at whether anyone in Peaceful Harbor will know her from the story that broke that caused everything that had happened to her.

Cole is not only a Braden, but the eldest Braden which only means he is protective and serious...and being a Doctor only makes him want to take care of everyone and everything even more.

Leesa was a teacher who was accused of something so awful that she didn't know how to bounce back from it all.

But, in finding each other, Leesa learned she needed to confront her past to be able to move forward, and Cole learned how to back up a little bit and allow her to do what she needed to do in order to be able to move forward.

    Another great one by Melissa!!!

    "Amazing Story"
If you could sum up Surrender My Love in three words, what would they be?

Melissa never disappoints. After the emotional situation Leesa went through in her home town she escaped to Peaceful Harbor. Leesa was not looking for a relationship, then she met Cole Braden. Leesa would not accept a date with Cole until she revealed her secret. Cole was so understanding and he stood by her every step of her journey. I listened to the audio book, let me tell you B.J. Harrison does an amazing job with the narration.

What does B.J. Harrison bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

B.J. Does an amazing job with the narration of this book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Absolutely

    "Great book!"

Like the other books in this series, I loved this book just as much. The characters, Cole and Leesa were well written characters with chemistry and relatable real life issues that the pair needed to work through. The plot moved along keeping me interested from the start. I enjoyed watching the characters fall in love as they worked through their issues and despite not looking for love. I also enjoyed the return even in reference to some of the characters from her previous books and all of the characters strong sense of family. I just could not get enough of their story. The narration from Mr. Harrison was smooth and interesting, keeping me interested from the start. I would recommend this book to others.

    Fun, sweet, romantic

What was one of the most memorable moments of Surrender My Love?

The whole book touched my heart, I can't pick just one thing. I love how Cole transformed when finding Leesa. How lonely Cole was and how he grew when Leesa was around

    Which scene was your favorite?

Cole and Leesa's boat ride. It showed how Cole listen and paid attention to what Leesa wanted to experience.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I always experience emotions when I read Melissa Foster's book. I laugh with the characters, I get mad and I cry with them. It's one of the many reason why I love her books so much!

I love this book along with all of the other Braden families. You can never go wrong with one of Melissa's books. BJ Harrison did another awesome job.
Neither Cole nor Leesa were looking for love. Seems fate stepped in and it was love at first sight. Highly recommend this book and every other Melissa Foster book.
