emotional
I have no idea how to put this audiobook into words It was very emotional , megan and her daughter are put through so much ! but thanks to school friend and doctor , Garrett , her burden is lifted somewhat , still some drama to get through will they all find their happily ever after or will the past 'haunt' her forever , if I could recommend one book this year this would be it .
narration was perfect no other words for it .

Awhile is a long time...
I really wanted to love this book. I think this one would have been better read instead of listened to. I think this is a great story of 2 friends finding their way back to each other as more than friends this time but I just could not connect with the characters. Maybe it was the narrator? IDK but I stopped listening even though I wanted to know how it all turned out for them. Just couldn't hold my interest enough to get to the end.

what a performance
This book wrung me out... oh my. I was a mess. This book is so good. the author wrote a wonderful story. The characters were so relatable, and the dialogue. and the narration... was perfect. I love Sarah Puckett and she does not disappoint. She really brought these characters to life for me. Wow... I am just a bucket of emotions.

Paging Dr. Garrett!
You can’t feel too badly about all of the bad things that happen to Megan at the beginning of this book because she’s lucky enough to reconnect with sexy Dr Garrett Christophe!!
Great narration— it would have been better with a dual narration to have a male voice for Garret’s chapters but Sarah Puckett did an awesome job with double duty!

Sarah is amazing
Oh this book....Gia, you completely destroyed me. The emotion is fantastic. Sarah’s delivery of this book is absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this book. It’s so so good.

Loved it!
Megs goes through a lot in this book, from finding a woman in her home when she comes home after a trip, her daughter Laney being involved in a car accident and learning her marriage is a lie, her life is thrown into turmoil. There were lots of twists and turns.
Megs, Laney and Garrett, were brilliant characters, particularly Laney who had the gift of the gab and would just blurt out whatever she had heard which made Megs blush several times in front Garrett. Garrett was caring and let Megs take the time she needed, never pushing her.
A great second chance romance, this is the second Gia Riley audiobook I have listened to and really liked, I need more!

Fantastic story and narration
Sarah did an amazing job narrating this fantastic story. She conveyed every emotion the author poured into each character and I was hooked from the first chapter. It will capture and pull every emotion out of you and the storyline will keep you on the edge until the end. This is a must listen that will stay with you for a long time.

One hell of a rollercoaster ride
Gia Riley knows how to get her readers to board that emotional rollercoaster. This is one ride you will not want to miss. This book has so many realistic struggles that I easily related to Megan. A cheating husband, a daughter in the hospital and one stupid mistake, has turned Megan's world upside down. As Garrett pieces her daughter back together, he also pieces her world back together as well. This is a second chance romance, that is not an easy road. Megan has so much baggage, she cannot focus on anything else. Garrett has a heart of gold and has never lost his love for Megan. This romance wrenched my heart and slowly healed it as well.
Sarah Puckett brought this story to life. Sarah brought out all the emotions through her performance and I felt them all right along with the characters. Sarah has an easy to listen to voice. She is always consistent with her characters and makes the story easy to follow. I get so lost in her narration that I feel as if I am a part of the book.

Emotional Listen
I really enjoyed it! Gia Riley made me feel emotions! Which isn’t easily done with me. She did a fantastic job writing it!
Meghan goes through it! Lies, deceit, the ultimate betrayal. This story has it all! I love Lainie! I always have a soft spot for the kids! She’s so bright for being so young.
I honestly don’t think what I write will do this book justice! Just listen to it! You won’t regret it!
Sarah Puckett did a fanfreakingtastic job narrating but that’s no surprise! She’s phenomenal!

Loved it!
Beautifully written and Narrated whats not to love!
The story takes you through a rollercoaster of emotions brought out more by the great characterisation of both writter and narrator. I spent 8hrs and 7mins enthralled!
