Publisher's Summary

Kaylie Snow has always been the fun, flirty, pretty sister. Now her burgeoning baby bump, hormone-infused emotions, and faltering singing career are sending her into an unexpected identity crisis. Watching her older sister, Danica, glide through a major career change and a new relationship with the grace of a ballerina, Kaylie's insecurities rise to the forefront - and her relationship with fiancé Chaz Crew is caught in the crossfire.

Chaz Crew has everything he's ever wanted: a lovely fiancée, a baby on the way, and soon the film festival he owns will host its biggest event ever. When he's called away to woo the festival's largest sponsor - and the lover he's never admitted to having - secrets from his past turn his new life upside down.

With her baby shower around the corner and her fiancé's big event looming, the pressure is on for Kaylie to pull herself together - and for Chaz to right his wrongs. In a few short weeks, the couple who had it all figured out will learn things about life and love that may change their minds - and their hearts.

Sisters in Bloom is part of the Love in Bloom series. While Sisters in Bloom can be listened to as a standalone novel, for even more listening enjoyment you may want to listen to the entire Love in Bloom series in order.

    "The second Snow sister"

This is a standalone book but follows on from Danicas story. It explores lots of emotions and Kaylie is just as flawed as the rest of us. The same can be said of her other half Chas. Definitely one to listen to.

This is book 2 and I do have to say it is even better then book if that is possible. Kaylie and Chaz are an amazing couple, they will make you laugh and cry and in the end you will route for them to have a happy ever after. Danica and Blake also make this book perfection I love the advice they both give to the new couple.

    "Drama filled Read,"

This was a great book. I so loved how it advanced the story of Danica and Blake (Sisters in Love) while focusing on Kaylee and Chaz. Kaylee seems to be high strung and reactive to everything and not always in a good way. It makes for a very interesting story. Kaylee and fiancé Chaz are building their relationship while awaiting the birth of their first child. Both of their careers have some significant impacts on the decisions they make. And of course there is a person who meddles in their relationship. Melissa Foster has another hit. This story was beautifully narrated by BJ Harrison. High praise for him for the birthing scene in particular. Love listening to him.

    "Wonderful Love Story"
Where does Sisters in Bloom rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I love Melissa Foster and rate this audiobook at the top of the audiobooks, along with her other books I have listened to via audio.

What other book might you compare Sisters in Bloom to and why?

Sisters in Love and other books from Melissa Foster

    Which scene was your favorite?

I love that this isn't the perfect story, that there are problems that they have to figure out and resolve, but when you add in the pregnancy hormones, it makes for an entertaining read.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Parts made me laugh and others made me want to cry. I think that is the wonderful part about Melissa Foster's writing.

I enjoyed reading about 2 people that have insecurities and pasts that they have to overcome.

The hospital scene near the end. I enjoyed the interactions within the characters.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Amazing story of people overcoming obstacles and dealing with their past.

"surprising but....somehow better than the first!"
Would you consider the audio edition of Sisters in Bloom to be better than the print version?

I love audiobooks, mostly because I can hear the story while I'm driving. However, I like print books because it takes a lot less time to get that story. It just depends on what is going on in my life. The best part of the story is the story itself, so I think that whatever media is most convenient for you is perfect. BJ Harrison does an AMAZING job as a narrator and I've tried both versions of the book and highly recommend whatever form works best for you.

What did you love best about Sisters in Bloom?

I had read this book a while back, but was given the opportunity to listen to it. You pick up on so much more listening to this book. I was able to really feel like I was with Danica and Kaylie. As the second book in the Love on Bloom series and the start of the whole Braden obsession this book is wonderful. <br/>We set off with Danica and Kaylie both ingrossed in their relationships, but on very different speeds. Danica and Blake are just settling into their relationship. While Kaylie and Chaz are already living together is expecting a baby. Kaylie is feeling her dreams are fading away as she gets further along in her pregnancy. Danica is just starting a new chapter in her life as far as work goes. With some hidden surprises in the sisters past and a big surprise for Kaylie you don't want yo miss this. <br/>

What was one of the most memorable moments of Sisters in Bloom?

I love when Kaylie is reunited with Helen. Her shocked expression is wonderful.

What does B.J. Harrison bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The audio is great. I love listening to BJ. He sounds great.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but is long so couldn't.

"Awesome Sisters in Bloom narrated book"

This is the second book I ever read of Melissa Fosters, while I loved Sisters in Love book 1, this one well I loved it but I didn't like Kaylie for most of the book, she was so self centered, but thankfully the rest of the characters in this book make it worth reading. I love Chaz and god he so deserves a medal for dealing with Kaylie. Melissa I don't know how you came up with her, but that sure shows you can write a fantastic book. Thank god it turns out good. Was so worth reading and I'm so thankful that I read Sisters in Love first, and you should read it first then move on to this one. I recommend reading them in order. I did like this one too, I liked it so much I listened to it on Audio and BJ Harrison did a fantastic job narrating Sisters in Bloom(he made me like the book that much more) he was awesome at reading the females just as the males, I wonder if it would have been different had a women narrarated the female voices and kept B.J. for the males? Just a thought, even though he did a phenomenal job and I so hope he is the narrator for the rest of the series and I can't wait to hear them. Thank you Melissa you picked a fantastic voice when you picked BJ Harrison to read your book. I look forward to many many more. Go get this book and the audio version too. Both are worth it.

    Story
    "So much happiness!!"
Would you listen to Sisters in Bloom again? Why?

Yes! I absolutely love the characters and the interlocking story lines. It was awesome to watch Kaylie literally learn how to be a grown up and care about more than herself and her looks in this one. Her relationship with Chaz and then becoming a mom was so wonderful and special. I also loved getting more of Danica and Blake who I just love together! So many awesome things happened in this book!

What other book might you compare Sisters in Bloom to and why?

I could really only compare it to Sisters in Love and that is because it is basically a continuation of Sisters in Love as we also get more of Danica and Blake's story in addition to Kaylie and Chaz's story. And as a bonus we get more of everyone we have met so far: Gage, Sally, Michelle and many more.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The birth, which I don't want to really explain further because I do not want to spoil anything. <br/>Let's just say it was a wonderfully awesome scene!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes if I had time to I would have liked to, but life doesn't really allow that. I was able to listen in around 3 days here and there so that was good too sort of like the time spent reading a book.

    Any additional comments?

I liked the first book in this series too but I liked this one even more. Even though the narrator was the same, for some reason I liked him better this time and didn't seem to mind so much that a female did not read for Kaylie's part.

    Story
"Another great read by Melissa Foster"

I read the print version on this book but just recently listened to the audio version. I enjoyed this book just as much this time around as I did the first time that I read it. I liked how the story picks up a little further ahead than where it left off with the return of the characters from the first book. The couple that was mainly focused on in this book was Kaylee and Chas. I at first did not really like Kaylee's character as I felt that she was a bit shallow and self centered but as the book progressed I enjoyed watching her 'grow up'. I liked how Chas' character centered Kaylee even when she was a bit unreasonable. I also liked seeing where Danika and Blake were going with their new relationship. The plot moved along well and did not feel rushed as the characters worked through their relationship issues as well as their career trials and tribulations.
With the narration of this book in the audio format, I thought that the narrator made the story flow. I did feel that with the addition of more characters (Gage, Max, Kaylee's mother, etc.) that at times it was a little difficult to differentiate between the characters but overall, I enjoyed the audio version. I would listen to more of her books in this format and defiantly recommend them to others.
I voluntarily reviewed an audio copy of this book.
